TOPPING Arpegear Hane IEMs Review
With a 10mm DLC dynamic driver and a four-position tuning dip switch, this IEM is listed at $129. The pictured specifications give 80Ω ±15% impedance and 115dB/Vrms sensitivity. It suits listeners who like to adjust bass and treble.

Our verdict
Choose it if you want a $129 wired IEM with a tuning dip switch and pictured specifications giving impedance and sensitivity with conditions. Look elsewhere if you need a stated plug type, a weight, or measurements from a named independent source. All the spec figures are the page's own, read from its pictures.
- Best for
- Listeners who want to adjust bass and treble with a dip switch on a wired IEM at $129.
- Skip if
- You need a named plug type, a weight or a measurement from a named outside source.
Why 3.3/5: What holds it back: the specifications sit in a picture rather than in text, the page text is a short single line with most claims in pictures rather than text, the store's own terms contradict each other, and no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
Under the TOPPING name, the Arpegear Hane is a wired in-ear monitor that HiFiGO lists at $129. Its pictures give a 10 mm DLC dynamic driver, 80Ω ±15% impedance, 115dB/Vrms sensitivity and a 5Hz-35kHz frequency response, and they show a four-position dip switch that changes the tuning. The only description text is a line saying the curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only.

Options and pricing
Only Arpegear Hane is listed, at $129, and it was orderable when the page was read. The pictured contents list names the earphones, six pairs of ear tips, a tuning tool, a user manual, one cable and a carrying pouch. Tuning is set with the dip switch rather than by option: a picture of the tuning settings gives a bass boost of 2dB for switch 1, 4dB for switch 2 and 6dB for switches 1 and 2 together.
How it compares
The Tanchjim KASIER 1DD + 4BA Hybrid In-Ear Monitors cost $129.99 against $129 here, and their name lists a 1DD + 4BA hybrid where the Hane lists a 10mm DLC dynamic driver. The JUZEAR POISE Series FLAME 1DD+4BA Hybrid In-Ear Earphone Monitor is $152.10 with a resistance of 48Ω, against the Hane's 80Ω ±15%. The Hane suits a buyer who wants switchable tuning from a dynamic driver; the other two suit those who prefer a hybrid layout.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- The pictured specifications give impedance, sensitivity and frequency response, two of them with test conditions: 80Ω ±15% at 1kHz, 115dB/Vrms at 1kHz and 5Hz-35kHz
- A four-position dip switch is pictured with named settings: bass boost of 2dB, 4dB or 6dB, treble attenuation, treble boost and an attenuation of 3-7 kHz
- A feature icon names a 0.78mm 2Pin Detachable Cable, and the pictured specifications give a 1.5m OFC cable
- The pictured contents list names six pairs of ear tips, a tuning tool and a carrying pouch
Worth noting
- No plug type or size is named in the pictures read
- The pictures opened give no size or weight, and six pictures were not opened
- One picture says switches 3 and 4 together attenuate the 6kHz region and another says 3-7 kHz
- The page text says the curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only, without naming the party
- The pictures opened carry the name ArpegEar on the manual and cable plug, not TOPPING
Questions before you buy
What do the Hane's tuning switches do?
A picture of the tuning settings lists them: toggling switch 1 up gives a bass boost of 2dB, switch 2 gives 4dB, switches 1 and 2 together give 6dB, switch 3 is a treble attenuation, switch 4 is a treble boost, and switches 3 and 4 together attenuate 3-7 kHz. Another picture says activating switches 3 and 4 attenuates the 6kHz region. A picture of the switch calls it a Four Position Dip Switch with up to 16 tuning combinations.
What impedance and sensitivity does the Hane list?
The pictured specifications give 80Ω ±15% at 1kHz and 115dB/Vrms at 1kHz, with a frequency response of 5Hz-35kHz and THD below 0.05% at 94dB SPL.
Is the Hane's cable detachable?
A feature icon names a 0.78mm 2Pin Detachable Cable, and the pictured specifications give a 1.5m OFC cable with a 0.78mm-2pin socket. The pictures opened do not name a plug type.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The page text says the curve is measured by a third party and is for reference only, without naming the party. THD below 0.05% and the consistency of the dip switch circuit are claims made in the pictures, not independently checked.
- CONFLICT (minor): switches 3 and 4 together are said to attenuate the 6kHz region in one picture and 3-7 kHz in another.
- The pictures opened name ArpegEar on the manual and cable plug and give the model as Hane; the word TOPPING does not appear in them. Six pictures were not opened, including the frequency response graph.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
