xDuoo MP-01 Tube Phono Preamp Review
A tube phono preamplifier with a 6.35mm headphone output, listed at $149. It has dual 6N3 tubes, Aux and Phono inputs and bass and treble knobs, so it suits vinyl listeners who also want to plug in headphones.

Our verdict
A fit for turntable owners who want a tube phono stage with a headphone output and tone knobs at $149. Look elsewhere if you need a balanced output, a digital input or gain and noise figures, since the page lists none. Weigh the fact that it gives output power at one load and THD+N limits only, and all numbers are the store's own.

- Turntable owners who want a tube phono stage with a 6.35mm headphone output.
- Skip if
- You need a balanced or digital connection, or noise and gain figures.
Why 3.5/5: Held back by the store's own terms contradicting each other and because no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
Turntable owners are the target of the xDuoo MP-01, a tube phono preamplifier with a headphone output, listed at $149 in one default option. The page names dual 6N3 tubes, Aux and Phono inputs, a 6.35mm headphone port and 320mW at 32Ω. It says vinyl players give a weak signal of about 3mV in most cases and presents the unit as the way to amplify it, with bass and treble knobs for compensation.

Options and pricing
One default option is listed at $149 and was open to order when the listing was read, with no color or plug choices. The page names a single 6.35mm single-ended headphone output and says the tubes are replaceable, naming 6H3N and JAN-5680W as alternatives to the 6N3. No accessories are listed.
How it compares
At $149 the MP-01 costs the same as the xDuoo MT-02 Dual 6J1 Tube Headphone Amplifier and the TOPPING L30 II NFCA Modules UHGF Technology Headphone Amplifier. The MT-02 is also a tube amplifier, but its title does not mention a phono stage, so the MP-01 is the one for a turntable. The L30 II is named for NFCA modules rather than tubes, and its title names no phono stage. The FiiO K11 R2R High-Performance Desktop DAC / Headphone AMP at $169.99 is a DAC and amp rather than a phono stage.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Phono input plus Aux input in one tube unit, per the page
- Bass and treble knobs with a stated -6dB to +6dB range
- Replaceable tubes: the page names 6H3N and JAN-5680W as alternatives to the stock 6N3
- Output power is stated with a load: 320mW at 32Ω
- Separate THD+N limits are listed for the Aux, MM and MC inputs
Worth noting
- Only a 6.35mm single-ended headphone output is listed; no balanced output is named
- No frequency response, SNR, input impedance or gain figure is given
- The page does not say how much gain it applies to MM or MC cartridges
- Output power is given at one load only

What we couldn’t verify
- THD+N is given as limits (≤0.15% Aux, ≤0.5% MM, ≤1% MC) with no frequency, level or load; no SNR, frequency response, input impedance or phono gain is stated.
- Descriptions such as smooth and rich vocals and delicate, soft sound are the page's words, not measurements.
- The effect of swapping tubes is a sound claim; the page text gives no measurement of it.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
