ComfiRoom Simple Style 6-Seat Recliner Row Review

Six seats across 178 in make ComfiRoom's Simple Style 6-Seat the top size of its line, listed at $4,599 in black, grey or orange with a 135° maximum recline. The page aims it at spacious home theaters, and it needs about 5 in of wall clearance with no loveseat layout to choose.

Our verdict

Fits a room with a very long free wall that needs six matching recliners in one row. Look elsewhere if you want a loveseat layout or the 150° Classic Series recline. The main caveat is that the page gives no room-size advice for a 178 in row beyond the 5 in clearance and the depth figures, so the buyer has to do the measuring.

Skip if
Your wall is shorter than 178 in, or you want a loveseat layout or the 150° Classic Series recline.

Why 3.5/5: A full set of stated figures, from the 178 in width to a 350 lb per-seat limit, lifts it. Held back because no independent test was found (the only reviews sit on the store's own widget) and store wording differs in places, including which surfaces are leather.

At 178 in across, the Simple Style 6-Seat is the top size of its line: 178 in across, $4,599, or $766.50 a seat when the page's total is divided by 6. The page aims it at spacious home theaters. It is 39 in deep upright, 68 in deep fully reclined and 42 in tall, with 135° of recline, about 5 in of wall clearance and a 350 lb limit per seat, in Black, Grey or Orange.

Options and pricing

Black, Grey and Orange are the whole menu for the 6-Seat: 3 variants at $4,599, with no layout choice and no loveseat option. The page shows a Regular Price of $4,599 and a Final Price After 30% OFF of $3,219.30, and its per-seat numbers, $766.50 and $536.55, are those totals divided by 6. The page says each of the six seats has its own swivel tray table, stored in an armrest compartment.

How it compares

At the top of the Simple Style line the 6-Seat lists $4,599 at 178 in, while the ComfiRoom Simple Style Home Theater Seating, 5-Seat lists $3,899 at 149 in. The ComfiRoom Classic Series Home Theater Seating, 6-Seat matches the $4,599 and the 178 in; per the Classic Series pages it swaps this collection's cleaner panels, 135° and about 5 inches of wall clearance for diamond-quilted stitching, a Zero Gravity recline up to 150° and about 9 inches.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Delivery: free standard delivery covers the contiguous 48 states; the store does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses or P.O. boxes. Freight carriers deliver Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm with a photo as proof of delivery and no signature: the shipping page says to the ground level or the first dry area, while the FAQ says the boxes may be left at the curb, driveway, front door or garage. The shipping page says room-of-choice delivery is not offered at every location, and the FAQ adds that drivers usually do not carry furniture upstairs, into basements or through tight hallways. The same shipping page also says delivery fees are calculated at checkout, so check the shipping line before paying. Each seat ships as its own large package with its own tracking number, so a multi-seat order can arrive on different days. The store says it ships from 7 US warehouses, that most orders arrive within 7 days, and that each product page shows an estimated date range. Seats arrive with the backrest and the seat base separated (its fit guide lists a minimum doorway width of 25.8 inches), and assembly is two steps: attach the backrest to the seat base, then connect the wiring. Check the boxes for damage when they arrive (no signature is required, but if the driver is present the shipping page asks you to have damage noted on the delivery proof): the shipping page says to report damage or missing items within 3 business days, the refund page and the terms say 48 hours, and the refund page gives 72 hours for a wrong item. Returns and cancellations: a return must be started within 30 days of receipt, needs an RMA number from support and must come back in its original condition and packaging, and the refund page says unapproved returns are not accepted. Cancelling within 48 hours of ordering avoids a 7% processing fee; after that a 30% restocking fee plus shipping fees apply, while the shipping page says a cancellation is free before shipment and costs $149 after it. For a defective item the store says it pays return shipping and repairs or replaces it. Warranty: a 1-year limited warranty from delivery covers materials, foam, frame parts and mechanisms, including motors and USB ports, against defects in materials or workmanship under normal indoor home use; leather markings, foam compression, normal wear, accidents and spills, unauthorized repairs and commercial or outdoor use are not covered. An extended plan (comfiroom-Care) has to be bought with the furniture; its page lists seam slippage and breakage, frames, springs and mechanisms and structural and operational defects as covered and rips, tears, burns and punctures as not covered, and shows no price or term.

Before you buy

The store's page shows two prices for every seat configuration, a Regular Price and a Final Price After 30% OFF, and advertises a code of its own (COMFIROOMOFF30) for the same 30% on every product page, so the discounted figure is the working price and the regular price is the store's own reference. The page's Buy Now button applies that code only when the page address has no referral parameter; a page opened through this site's buy button has one, so Buy Now goes to checkout without the code: enter FACE4STORE (30% off, shown on this page) at checkout and check that the discount appears in the order summary before you pay. The store's own review widget repeats the same pool of reviews on every page of a collection (the Classic pages show 154 or 155, 147 of them five-star and 8 four-star on the 1-seat page); none of it was verified, and its five-star reviews carry caveats, such as a buyer who found the seat smaller than expected and better for gaming than lounging, and one who warned that in the Classic Series zero-gravity position the feet may block the view of a TV that sits low. We found no Trustpilot page for comfiroom.com (it returned 404 on 21 October 2026) and no independent hands-on test; the only outside mentions were roundup articles, which we did not rely on. The domain was registered on 17 April 2024. The About page says support can send leather samples to eligible US addresses, which is worth asking for before choosing a color.

What we liked

  • The page states 178 in width, 39 in upright depth, 42 in height and 68 in reclined depth for the full row.
  • Each of the six seats has its own control panel, so six people can hold separate recline positions.
  • Full reclining needs about 5 in of wall clearance, against about 9 in for the Classic Series 6-seat.
  • Black, Grey and Orange are all offered at one $4,599 price.
  • A 350 lb per-seat limit is stated for every seat.

Worth noting

  • A 178 in row needs a very long free wall, and the page gives no guidance beyond the clearance figure and the dimensions.
  • Only the color can be picked on this page; there is no loveseat variant.
  • A 135° maximum recline compares with up to 150° on the Classic Series 6-seat, also $4,599.
  • Which surfaces are leather is only addressed in the series FAQ (top grain leather on the seating surface); no page says what covers the back and sides.

Questions before you buy

What does the page say about fitting a 178 in row in a room?

Only the measurements: a 178 in width, a 42 in height, a 39 in upright depth and a 68 in fully reclined depth, plus about 5 in of minimum wall clearance. It adds no room-size advice.

What do the two motors in each 6-Seat seat do?

The series FAQ says each seat uses two motors: one controls the headrest angle and the other controls the main reclining movement of the backrest and footrest. Each seat also has its own control panel.

How much weight can each seat in the 6-Seat take?

The page lists 350 lb per seat. The series FAQ gives about 133 lbs for a single two-armrest seat, but the page does not say what the full six-seat row weighs.

Does ComfiRoom deliver outside the contiguous US?

The shipping policy says free standard delivery covers the contiguous 48 states and that it does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses or P.O. boxes. Freight carriers deliver Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm to the ground level or the first dry area, with a photo as proof and no signature.

Will the seat fit through my door, and does it need assembly?

The store's fit guide lists a minimum doorway width of 25.8 inches, and seats arrive with the backrest and the seat base separated. The FAQ describes assembly as two steps: attach the backrest to the seat base, then connect the wiring. It adds that freight drivers do not usually carry furniture upstairs or through tight hallways.

What is the return window?

The refund policy says a return must be started within 30 days of receipt, needs an RMA number from support and must be in its original condition and packaging; unapproved returns are not accepted. Cancelling within 48 hours of ordering avoids a 7% processing fee, and later cancellations carry a 30% restocking fee plus shipping fees.

What does the one-year warranty cover?

The warranty page covers materials, foam, frame parts and mechanisms, including motors and USB ports, against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from delivery under normal indoor home use. Leather markings, foam compression, normal wear, accidents, unauthorized repairs and commercial or outdoor use are excluded. Claims go to [email protected] or 1-888-970-5199 with photos.

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page gives no room-size advice for a 178 in row beyond the 5 in wall clearance and the depth figures.
  • The page names a supplied power adapter in the singular and does not say how many a six-seat row includes.
  • Independent testing: none found. The reviews on the store's own pages (for example 155 on a Classic 1-seat page) sit on its own widget and were not verified.
  • The store describes leather as 'top-grain leather on all contact surfaces', 'on the seating surface' (FAQ) and 'natural leather'; no page says what covers the back, sides or base.
  • The FAQ says cushions keep their bounce and support for up to 15 years under normal use, while the warranty covers foam for one year and excludes foam compression.
  • Damage-report windows differ (48 hours on the refund page and in the terms, 3 business days on the shipping page), and cancellation costs differ (7% or 30% on the refund page, none before shipment and $149 after on the shipping page).
