ComfiRoom Classic Series 6-Seat Recliner Row Review

Six seats across 178 in at $4,599, with a 150° maximum recline in five colors and no loveseat option. The page pitches it for large rooms and shared viewing but gives no room-size advice beyond about 9 in of wall clearance.

Our verdict

A six-seat row makes sense only in a large dedicated room with a clear 178 in wall and six viewers who each want their own controls, at $4,599. Anyone needing a loveseat section or real room-size guidance should look elsewhere, because the page offers neither. The main caveat is that the page calls it ideal for large rooms without giving room-size or seating-distance figures, and no independent test was found.

Why 3.5/5: What lifts it is a page that spells out the dimensions, recline angle, clearance and per-seat limit; what holds it back is that no independent test was found and the store's leather and cushion wording is inconsistent.

At 178 in across, the Classic Series 6-Seat row is the long end of the range, listed at $4,599 in five colors with no loveseat option. Depth is 40 in upright and 68 in fully reclined, height is 42.5 in, the maximum recline is 150° and each seat is limited to 350 lb. The page's total comes to $766.50 a seat, and the page describes a commercial-style theater setup at home, with ambient lighting and fully powered recline on every seat.

Options and pricing

Color is the only choice on this page: Black, Brown, Blue, Red or Grey, five variants at one price, with no layout or loveseat option. The page shows a Regular Price of $4,599 and a Final Price After 30% OFF of $3,219.30, and the per-seat numbers in the listing, $766.50 and $536.55, are those totals divided by 6. At the time of reading, all five variants were in stock. The page says each of the six seats comes with a swivel tray table that stores in the armrest compartment.

How it compares

The ComfiRoom Simple Style 6-Seat Recliner Row is the same $4,599 and 178 in, but Simple Style swaps the diamond quilting for cleaner panels and lists 135° as its maximum recline against 150° here. Stepping down within the Classic Series gives the ComfiRoom Classic Series 5-Seat Recliner Row at $3,899 and 149 in, then the ComfiRoom Classic Series 4-Seat Recliner Row at $3,199 and 120 in, both at 150°; the 4-seat title carries loveseat options and the 6-seat does not.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Delivery: free standard delivery covers the contiguous 48 states; the store does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses or P.O. boxes. Freight carriers deliver Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm with a photo as proof of delivery and no signature: the shipping page says to the ground level or the first dry area, while the FAQ says the boxes may be left at the curb, driveway, front door or garage. The shipping page says room-of-choice delivery is not offered at every location, and the FAQ adds that drivers usually do not carry furniture upstairs, into basements or through tight hallways. The same shipping page also says delivery fees are calculated at checkout, so check the shipping line before paying. Each seat ships as its own large package with its own tracking number, so a multi-seat order can arrive on different days. The store says it ships from 7 US warehouses, that most orders arrive within 7 days, and that each product page shows an estimated date range. Seats arrive with the backrest and the seat base separated (its fit guide lists a minimum doorway width of 25.8 inches), and assembly is two steps: attach the backrest to the seat base, then connect the wiring. Check the boxes for damage when they arrive (no signature is required, but if the driver is present the shipping page asks you to have damage noted on the delivery proof): the shipping page says to report damage or missing items within 3 business days, the refund page and the terms say 48 hours, and the refund page gives 72 hours for a wrong item. Returns and cancellations: a return must be started within 30 days of receipt, needs an RMA number from support and must come back in its original condition and packaging, and the refund page says unapproved returns are not accepted. Cancelling within 48 hours of ordering avoids a 7% processing fee; after that a 30% restocking fee plus shipping fees apply, while the shipping page says a cancellation is free before shipment and costs $149 after it. For a defective item the store says it pays return shipping and repairs or replaces it. Warranty: a 1-year limited warranty from delivery covers materials, foam, frame parts and mechanisms, including motors and USB ports, against defects in materials or workmanship under normal indoor home use; leather markings, foam compression, normal wear, accidents and spills, unauthorized repairs and commercial or outdoor use are not covered. An extended plan (comfiroom-Care) has to be bought with the furniture; its page lists seam slippage and breakage, frames, springs and mechanisms and structural and operational defects as covered and rips, tears, burns and punctures as not covered, and shows no price or term.

Before you buy

The store's page shows two prices for every seat configuration, a Regular Price and a Final Price After 30% OFF, and advertises a code of its own (COMFIROOMOFF30) for the same 30% on every product page, so the discounted figure is the working price and the regular price is the store's own reference. The page's Buy Now button applies that code only when the page address has no referral parameter; a page opened through this site's buy button has one, so Buy Now goes to checkout without the code: enter FACE4STORE (30% off, shown on this page) at checkout and check that the discount appears in the order summary before you pay. The store's own review widget repeats the same pool of reviews on every page of a collection (the Classic pages show 154 or 155, 147 of them five-star and 8 four-star on the 1-seat page); none of it was verified, and its five-star reviews carry caveats, such as a buyer who found the seat smaller than expected and better for gaming than lounging, and one who warned that in the Classic Series zero-gravity position the feet may block the view of a TV that sits low. We found no Trustpilot page for comfiroom.com (it returned 404 on 21 October 2026) and no independent hands-on test; the only outside mentions were roundup articles, which we did not rely on. The domain was registered on 17 April 2024. The About page says support can send leather samples to eligible US addresses, which is worth asking for before choosing a color.

What we liked

  • Six seats in one row, each with its own control panel and powered recline, per the page.
  • The page spells out the space-planning numbers for a 178 in row: depths of 40 in and 68 in, a 42.5 in height and 9 in of wall clearance.
  • A single $4,599 price covers all five colors, each in stock when the page was read.
  • Ambient base lights and USB and Type-C charging are listed for every seat.

Worth noting

  • A 178 in row takes a very long wall, with about 9 in more needed behind it to recline.
  • No loveseat or other layout option is offered.
  • The page calls it a commercial-style theater setup for large rooms but gives no room or seating-distance figures to back that up.
  • Only the store's own review widget turned up; no independent test was found.

Questions before you buy

How wide is the 6-seat row and what room does it need?

The row measures 178 in across, 40 in deep upright and 68 in deep fully reclined, and the page asks for about 9 in of wall clearance. It describes the row as made for large rooms and shared viewing but gives no room-size advice beyond those figures.

Does every seat get its own controls and charging?

Per the page, recline is fully powered across all seats, and each seat has a control panel of its own. Charging is USB and Type-C, and the page's feature photo also lists a power adjustable headrest, lighted cup holders and ambient base lights.

What power adapter does the page describe?

A supplied adapter with 100-240V AC input at 50-60Hz and 1.6A, and a 29.0V DC, 2.0A output rated at 58W. The page says the input range suits standard US household voltage and recommends the adapter supplied with the chair; it does not say how many adapters a six-seat row has.

Does ComfiRoom deliver outside the contiguous US?

The shipping policy says free standard delivery covers the contiguous 48 states and that it does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses or P.O. boxes. Freight carriers deliver Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm to the ground level or the first dry area, with a photo as proof and no signature.

Will the seat fit through my door, and does it need assembly?

The store's fit guide lists a minimum doorway width of 25.8 inches, and seats arrive with the backrest and the seat base separated. The FAQ describes assembly as two steps: attach the backrest to the seat base, then connect the wiring. It adds that freight drivers do not usually carry furniture upstairs or through tight hallways.

What is the return window?

The refund policy says a return must be started within 30 days of receipt, needs an RMA number from support and must be in its original condition and packaging; unapproved returns are not accepted. Cancelling within 48 hours of ordering avoids a 7% processing fee, and later cancellations carry a 30% restocking fee plus shipping fees.

What does the one-year warranty cover?

The warranty page covers materials, foam, frame parts and mechanisms, including motors and USB ports, against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from delivery under normal indoor home use. Leather markings, foam compression, normal wear, accidents, unauthorized repairs and commercial or outdoor use are excluded. Claims go to [email protected] or 1-888-970-5199 with photos.

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page gives no room dimensions or viewing-distance guidance for a 178 in row, only the clearance figure.
  • Independent testing: none found. The reviews on the store's own pages (for example 155 on a Classic 1-seat page) sit on its own widget and were not verified.
  • The store describes leather as 'top-grain leather on all contact surfaces', 'on the seating surface' (FAQ) and 'natural leather'; no page says what covers the back, sides or base.
  • The FAQ says cushions keep their bounce and support for up to 15 years under normal use, while the warranty covers foam for one year and excludes foam compression.
  • Damage-report windows differ (48 hours on the refund page and in the terms, 3 business days on the shipping page), and cancellation costs differ (7% or 30% on the refund page, none before shipment and $149 after on the shipping page).
