A single-seat power recliner from ComfiRoom's Simple Style collection, 34 in wide with a 135° maximum recline, listed at $899 in black, grey or orange. It suits one person where about 5 in of wall clearance is available, and the page says seats can be added later.

Our verdict

A fit for one person who wants a single power recliner 34 in wide and may add seats later, in a room with about 5 in behind the seat and 68 in of depth to recline into. Look elsewhere if you want the 150° recline listed for the Classic Series, or a ready-made row for several people. The main caveat is that the add-on seats are not listed or priced on the site; the store FAQ only calls them matching left-armrest or right-armrest seats and says support can confirm the configuration.

Best for
One person who wants a single 34 in wide power recliner now and may add seats later, as the page describes.
Skip if
You want the 150° recline of the Classic Series or a multi-seat row ready to use from the start.

Why 3.5/5: Lifted by a page that states width, depth, height, reclined depth, recline angle, wall clearance and a 350 lb per-seat limit. Held back by the lack of any independent test, since the only reviews found sit on the store's own widget, and by store wording that differs on which surfaces are leather.

At 34 in wide, 39 in deep upright and 42 in tall, the Simple Style 1-Seat is the base unit of ComfiRoom's plainer-stitched recliner collection. It reclines to 135°, measures 68 in deep fully reclined and needs about 5 in of wall clearance. It lists at $899, which is also the per-seat figure for a single seat. The page's intro says top-grain leather on all contact surfaces and that you can start with one seat and add compatible single-arm seats later.

Options and pricing

The only choice on this page is color: Black, Grey or Orange, 3 variants all at $899, with no row layouts because it is a single seat. The page shows a Regular Price of $899 and a Final Price After 30% OFF of $629.30, and with a single seat the per-seat numbers are simply those two totals. The page says the seat comes with one swivel tray table that stores in the armrest compartment.

How it compares

The closest match is the ComfiRoom Classic Series Home Theater Seating, 1-Seat, which is also $899 and 34 in wide but, per the Classic Series pages, has diamond-quilted stitching, Zero Gravity reclining up to 150° and needs about 9 inches of wall clearance, against this seat's cleaner panels, 135° and about 5 inches. For more seats, the ComfiRoom Simple Style Home Theater Seating, 2-Seat lists $1,699 at 63 in wide and the ComfiRoom Simple Style Home Theater Seating, 3-Seat lists $2,499 at 92 in.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Delivery: free standard delivery covers the contiguous 48 states; the store does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses or P.O. boxes. Freight carriers deliver Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm with a photo as proof of delivery and no signature: the shipping page says to the ground level or the first dry area, while the FAQ says the boxes may be left at the curb, driveway, front door or garage. The shipping page says room-of-choice delivery is not offered at every location, and the FAQ adds that drivers usually do not carry furniture upstairs, into basements or through tight hallways. The same shipping page also says delivery fees are calculated at checkout, so check the shipping line before paying. Each seat ships as its own large package with its own tracking number, so a multi-seat order can arrive on different days. The store says it ships from 7 US warehouses, that most orders arrive within 7 days, and that each product page shows an estimated date range. Seats arrive with the backrest and the seat base separated (its fit guide lists a minimum doorway width of 25.8 inches), and assembly is two steps: attach the backrest to the seat base, then connect the wiring. Check the boxes for damage when they arrive (no signature is required, but if the driver is present the shipping page asks you to have damage noted on the delivery proof): the shipping page says to report damage or missing items within 3 business days, the refund page and the terms say 48 hours, and the refund page gives 72 hours for a wrong item. Returns and cancellations: a return must be started within 30 days of receipt, needs an RMA number from support and must come back in its original condition and packaging, and the refund page says unapproved returns are not accepted. Cancelling within 48 hours of ordering avoids a 7% processing fee; after that a 30% restocking fee plus shipping fees apply, while the shipping page says a cancellation is free before shipment and costs $149 after it. For a defective item the store says it pays return shipping and repairs or replaces it. Warranty: a 1-year limited warranty from delivery covers materials, foam, frame parts and mechanisms, including motors and USB ports, against defects in materials or workmanship under normal indoor home use; leather markings, foam compression, normal wear, accidents and spills, unauthorized repairs and commercial or outdoor use are not covered. An extended plan (comfiroom-Care) has to be bought with the furniture; its page lists seam slippage and breakage, frames, springs and mechanisms and structural and operational defects as covered and rips, tears, burns and punctures as not covered, and shows no price or term.

Before you buy

The store's page shows two prices for every seat configuration, a Regular Price and a Final Price After 30% OFF, and advertises a code of its own (COMFIROOMOFF30) for the same 30% on every product page, so the discounted figure is the working price and the regular price is the store's own reference. The page's Buy Now button applies that code only when the page address has no referral parameter; a page opened through this site's buy button has one, so Buy Now goes to checkout without the code: enter FACE4STORE (30% off, shown on this page) at checkout and check that the discount appears in the order summary before you pay. The store's own review widget repeats the same pool of reviews on every page of a collection (the Classic pages show 154 or 155, 147 of them five-star and 8 four-star on the 1-seat page); none of it was verified, and its five-star reviews carry caveats, such as a buyer who found the seat smaller than expected and better for gaming than lounging, and one who warned that in the Classic Series zero-gravity position the feet may block the view of a TV that sits low. We found no Trustpilot page for comfiroom.com (it returned 404 on 21 October 2026) and no independent hands-on test; the only outside mentions were roundup articles, which we did not rely on. The domain was registered on 17 April 2024. The About page says support can send leather samples to eligible US addresses, which is worth asking for before choosing a color.

What we liked

  • Width, depth, height, reclined depth, recline angle and wall clearance are all stated, so the footprint can be planned from the page's own figures.
  • Needs about 5 in of wall clearance for full reclining, against about 9 in for the Classic Series.
  • The seat has its own control panel and two motors, one for the headrest angle and one for the backrest and footrest, plus a memory button that saves a position.
  • Black, Grey and Orange are all offered at the single $899 price.
  • The page says more seats can be added later, so one seat can grow into a larger arrangement.

Worth noting

  • Maximum recline is 135°, against the 150° listed for the Classic Series 1-seat at the same $899.
  • The page says seats can be added later; the store FAQ calls them matching left-armrest or right-armrest seats, but no page lists them or gives a price.
  • Fully reclined the seat is 68 in deep against 39 in upright, so the floor space needed is larger than the upright footprint.
  • The page words the leather differently in places: all contact surfaces in the intro, the seating surface in the series FAQ.

Questions before you buy

Can more seats be added to the 1-Seat later?

The page says to start with one seat and expand later by adding compatible single-arm seats to create a larger arrangement. The store FAQ adds that these are matching left-armrest or right-armrest seats and that support can confirm the configuration before you order; no page lists them or gives their price.

How much floor space does the 1-Seat need?

The page lists 34 in wide, 39 in deep upright, 42 in tall and 68 in deep fully reclined, with about 5 in of minimum wall clearance. Its fit drawing also gives a 25.8 in minimum door width and a 22 in cushion width.

What can be charged on the 1-Seat?

The page's intro lists USB and Type-C charging, and its feature photo labels Type C and USB charging ports next to lighted cup holders and ambient base lights. It does not say how many ports the seat has or what power each one supplies.

Does ComfiRoom deliver outside the contiguous US?

The shipping policy says free standard delivery covers the contiguous 48 states and that it does not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, military addresses or P.O. boxes. Freight carriers deliver Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 7 pm to the ground level or the first dry area, with a photo as proof and no signature.

Will the seat fit through my door, and does it need assembly?

The store's fit guide lists a minimum doorway width of 25.8 inches, and seats arrive with the backrest and the seat base separated. The FAQ describes assembly as two steps: attach the backrest to the seat base, then connect the wiring. It adds that freight drivers do not usually carry furniture upstairs or through tight hallways.

What is the return window?

The refund policy says a return must be started within 30 days of receipt, needs an RMA number from support and must be in its original condition and packaging; unapproved returns are not accepted. Cancelling within 48 hours of ordering avoids a 7% processing fee, and later cancellations carry a 30% restocking fee plus shipping fees.

What does the one-year warranty cover?

The warranty page covers materials, foam, frame parts and mechanisms, including motors and USB ports, against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from delivery under normal indoor home use. Leather markings, foam compression, normal wear, accidents, unauthorized repairs and commercial or outdoor use are excluded. Claims go to [email protected] or 1-888-970-5199 with photos.

What we couldn’t verify

  • No page lists or prices the add-on single-arm seats; the store FAQ calls them matching left-armrest or right-armrest seats and says to ask support before ordering.
  • Independent testing: none found. The reviews on the store's own pages (for example 155 on a Classic 1-seat page) sit on its own widget and were not verified.
  • The store describes leather as 'top-grain leather on all contact surfaces', 'on the seating surface' (FAQ) and 'natural leather'; no page says what covers the back, sides or base.
  • The FAQ says cushions keep their bounce and support for up to 15 years under normal use, while the warranty covers foam for one year and excludes foam compression.
  • Damage-report windows differ (48 hours on the refund page and in the terms, 3 business days on the shipping page), and cancellation costs differ (7% or 30% on the refund page, none before shipment and $149 after on the shipping page).
