Our verdict

This Douk Audio DC adapter family is the practical way to power a Douk Audio or Nobsound digital amplifier properly: universal AC 100-240V input, output options from 19V/4.74A up to 48V/5A and 48V/10A, a standard 5.5x2.5mm centre-positive plug, and comprehensive overcurrent, overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection at $24.99. Match the voltage and current to your device before ordering — and check the plug size.

You haven't confirmed the voltage, current and 5.5x2.5mm centre-positive plug your device needs; matching the variant is up to you.

Why 3.6/5: Lifted by six voltage and current options with sizes, weights, a stated 5.5 x 2.5mm plug and named certifications, from $24.99. Held back by a missing 36V option, an optional cord, one wattage that does not match volts times amps and no noise or efficiency figure.

This Douk Audio listing is a family of DC power supply adapters priced from $24.99. They step down universal AC mains to a regulated DC output, and are specially designed for Douk Audio and Nobsound digital amplifiers to help them deliver pure HiFi sound. The same adapters work for LCD/LED monitors, HDTVs, 3D widescreens, Bluetooth speakers and printers.

Input is universal — AC 100-240V at 50/60Hz — so the same unit works in most regions without a voltage selector. Output depends on the variant chosen: 19V/4.74A (90W), 24V/4.5A (108W), 24V/6A (150W), 32V/5A (160W), 36V/5A (180W), 48V/5A (240W), plus a 48V/10A option in the variant list. Each supplies stable, adequate power through a 5.5x2.5mm DC plug with inside-positive, outside-negative polarity, a size compatible with much home electronics.

Safety hardware is thorough for the price: overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, overload protection and short-circuit protection, with FCC, CE and RoHS certifications. The maker notes the adapters use high-end components for large power transmission, high efficiency and energy saving.

Two practical points before ordering: match the voltage and current rating to your device, since a 19V amp and a 48V amp need different variants, and confirm your device uses a 5.5x2.5mm centre-positive jack. The adapters are for indoor use only and should be kept away from water and fire.

How it compares

This listing is the group's only supply at amplifier voltages: 19V to 48V in six selectable options from $24.99. The Douk Audio D2 15W Linear Power Supply with DC and USB 5V Outputs review ($89.99, $65.00 more) and the Douk Audio D2-PRO 35W Linear Power Supply with Dual DC 12V Outputs review ($129.99 for its US option, $105.00 more) are low-power linear supplies for 5V and 12V audio devices, with ripple figures that this page never gives for the adapters. The adapters are rated from 90W (19V/4.74A) to 480W max (48V/10A), against 15W for the D2 and 35W for the D2-PRO.

Choose the adapter when your Douk Audio or Nobsound amplifier needs 19V, 24V, 32V or 48V and takes a 5.5 x 2.5mm plug, and read the voltage and current off the amplifier's label. None of the six options is 5V or 12V, so DACs, streamers and preamps need a supply in the D2 or D2-PRO class instead; both of those list the same 5.5 x 2.5mm plug.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
  • Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
  • Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
  • Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
  • Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
  • Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.

For this product, the page offers Voltage/Current choices (19V/4.74A to 48V/10A) and a plug type (USA, EU, UK, AU) instead of a 'Shipping to' list, and shows Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.

What we liked

  • Stable, constant power specifically intended to let Douk Audio and Nobsound digital amplifiers deliver their pure HiFi sound
  • Universal AC 100-240V input works across regions without a voltage switch
  • A wide spread of voltage and current options — from 19V/4.74A up to 48V/5A (and a 48V/10A choice) — matches different amp requirements
  • Protected against overcurrent, overvoltage, overload and short circuits, with FCC, CE and RoHS certification
  • Useful beyond audio: it can also power LCD/LED monitors, HDTVs, 3D widescreens, Bluetooth speakers and printers

Worth noting

  • You must pick the correct voltage and current variant for your device — the listing spans 19V to 48V, and a mismatched supply is unsuitable
  • The DC plug is a 5.5x2.5mm barrel with centre-positive polarity only, so devices with a different jack or polarity need an adapter
  • Indoor use only — keep it away from water and fire

What we couldn’t verify

  • $24.99 is the 19V/4.74A option with a USA, EU or AU plug, and the page opens on it; the same model with a UK plug is $25.99. Other options run from $29.99 (24V/4.5A) to $89.99 (48V/10A).
  • The title lists 36V and the review lists 36V/5A (180W), and the Parameters describe it, but the option list has six models (19V, 24V/4.5A, 24V/6A, 32V/5A, 48V/5A, 48V/10A) and no 36V; the Output options row now lists the six.
  • The packing list marks the adapter and the US/EU/UK/AU power cord '(optional)', and one buyer review on the page (Dec 27, 2025) says a unit arrived with no power cord; check that your plug-type option includes a cord.
  • The 24V/6A model is listed at 150W, but 24V x 6A is 144W; the other models' wattages match voltage times current.
  • The page includes lines that belong to an amplifier listing ('Up to 50ft connection range', 'NS-15G also support RCA input'); they say nothing about this adapter.
  • 'No need to worry about any fires explosions or shocks' is a page claim; FCC, CE and RoHS are named without certificate numbers or reports, and no ripple, noise or efficiency figure is given.
