Our verdict

The Douk Audio G7 is a heavyweight for $299.99: dual TPA3255 chips for 300W x 2 or 150W x 4, two speaker output sets for A/B switching or dual zones, balanced XLR/TRS and RCA inputs, and a 48V/10A GaN module inside. The Bypass mode turns it into a pure power amp for critical listening, and the retro blue VU meters keep the desk lively. Mind the bypass-mode warning and the battery-less remote.

Best for
Driving two speaker pairs from one amp — A/B comparisons, dual zones, or a high-power 2.0/4.0 setup fed by a quality DAC or streamer
Skip if
You want adjustable VU lighting, or you plan to lean on Bypass mode without controlling the source volume first

Why 3.8/5: Lifted by an internal 48V/10A supply on AC mains, balanced and RCA inputs, A/B speaker outputs and a full parameter list. Held back by a $299.99 price ($349.99 on the China option), a 300W x 2 headline with only estimated values behind it and unmeasured claims such as 95% efficiency.

Weighing it up? Douk Audio Class D Amplifiers Compared: Q10, A5 PRO, NS-13G MAX, NS-14G PRO and G7

The Douk Audio G7 is a 2.0/4.0 channel digital amplifier priced at $299.99. It is built for flexibility first: two sets of speaker outputs can be switched or run simultaneously for A/B testing or dual-zone setups, making it a speaker selector as much as an amplifier for bookshelf and floor-standing speakers.

At the core are two TPA3255 chips delivering up to 300W x 2 or 150W x 4, powered by an internal 48V/10A GaN power module for efficient delivery, and mastered by an NJW1194 IC and OPA1612 op-amps. Inputs include a balanced XLR + TRS combo plus dual RCA, described as a match for high-performance DACs and streamers.

Tone and control are unusually deep. There is ±10dB of bass and treble shaping, along with a Bypass mode that disables the tone and volume circuits to give the uncolored, original signal path of a pure power amp. Large retro blue VU meters with AGC provide real-time visual feedback, and modern conveniences include a 12V trigger for synchronized power, full-function remote and instant mute.

The maker documents two cautions. In Bypass mode both volume and tone control are unavailable and the amplifier is set to maximum by default — lower the source volume before switching to prevent hearing or speaker damage. The remote control may not include batteries (AAA x2) for safer, faster delivery, so have two ready. It is recommended to use 4-8 ohm speakers with matching impedance per channel — for example two 4 ohm speakers on channel A and two 8 ohm on channel B. The 12V trigger input is for syncing power with a preamp or DAC, not for audio or a power supply.

How it compares

At $299.99 the G7 is $100.00 above the Ampapa D1 ($199.99, with a 48V/5A adapter in the box) and $60.00 below the Nobsound NS-02G PRO ($359.99). Like the NS-02G PRO the G7 runs from the mains with no external adapter and lists no Bluetooth; the D1 adds Bluetooth 5.2 but uses an external 48V/5A adapter. Over the D1 the G7 adds XLR inputs (XLR and TRS combo jacks plus dual RCA), a second TPA3255 chip (300W x 2, or 150W x 4 on four channels) and two speaker outputs, and it weighs 3.34kg against 5.6kg for the NS-02G PRO. The G7 page shows no output table; the store's product description has one as an image of estimated values (300W x 2 at 4Ω down to 150W x 2 at 8Ω, no distortion level), while the D1 page prints 120W+120W at 4Ω on its adapter.

The NS-02G PRO is a different kind of amp: single-ended Class A with 30W x 2 at 8Ω and 42W x 2 at 4Ω RMS per its page, two RCA inputs and a draw of up to 120W. The Douk Audio A100 is a wired, RCA-only power stage listed at $139.99 without an adapter and $189.99 with a 48V/5A one; its page lists a five-supply output table, including 120W+120W at 4Ω on a 48V/5A adapter, and a bridged mono mode. Who it suits: the G7 fits a DAC or streamer with balanced outputs feeding two speaker pairs. The D1 fits a desk 2.1 system with Bluetooth and a subwoofer feed. The A100 fits bridged mono or sub duty, and the NS-02G PRO fits low-power Class A listening.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
  • Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
  • Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
  • Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
  • Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
  • Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.

For this product, the page lists shipping from US, UK, EU, AU and China and shows Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.

What we liked

  • Two TPA3255 chips deliver serious output — up to 300W x 2 in stereo or 150W x 4 across four channels
  • Two switchable or simultaneous speaker outputs make it a speaker selector for A/B comparisons or dual-zone listening
  • Pro-grade connectivity with balanced XLR + TRS combo and dual RCA inputs, suiting high-performance DACs and streamers
  • Bypass mode disables the tone and volume circuits for the uncolored signal path of a pure power amp
  • Large retro blue VU meters with AGC, plus a 12V trigger, full-function remote and instant mute

Worth noting

  • Bypass mode disables both volume and tone control and sets the amplifier to maximum — lower the source volume before switching to avoid damaging hearing or speakers
  • The remote control may ship without AAA batteries for safer delivery, so prepare two yourself
  • The VU meter brightness and color are fixed and cannot be adjusted

Questions before you buy

Is volume control available in Bypass mode?

No. In Bypass mode both volume and tone control are unavailable and the amplifier volume is set to maximum by default. Lower the source volume before switching to this mode to prevent hearing and speaker damage.

What speakers should I connect?

It is recommended to use 4-8 ohm speakers with matching impedance for each channel — for example, two 4 ohm speakers for channel A output and two 8 ohm speakers for channel B output.

Does the remote include batteries?

The remote control may not include batteries (AAA x2) for safer and faster delivery, so prepare them yourself.

What are the shipping and warranty terms?

Douk Audio ships to nearly 200 countries from several warehouses; its shipping page lists 2-8 business days for delivery, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted. Its warranty page covers manufacturing defects for 24 months from purchase.

What we couldn’t verify

  • $299.99 is the price for the US, UK, EU and AU options and the one the page opens on; the China option is $349.99, and the page does not say why.
  • The page headlines 300W x 2 or 150W x 4 at 4Ω but also says the amp 'sustains 480W continuous clean power'; only the store's product description has an output table, an image of 'estimated values' with no distortion level.
  • THD+N 0.002%, SNR 112dB or better, '±0.1dB channel matching' and '120dB crosstalk rejection' come with no test conditions or equipment.
  • 'About 95% efficiency', 'mastering-grade signal integrity', 'audiophile sound' and 'best match' for Eversolo players are maker claims with no data or pairing notes on the page.
  • Bypass sets the amp to maximum volume, per the FAQ. Two customer reviews on the page object to a Bypass button on the remote; the page's feature text does not say whether the remote carries it.
  • Not on the page: the AC power cord's plug type for each shipping region, and the remote's batteries (AAA x 2), which may not be included; the packing list shows two remotes.
