Eunorau Meta / Defender / HS Bike Battery Review
A 48V battery for FAT-HS, DEFENDER, URUS, META, FAT-AWD and FAT-HD2.0 bikes, offered as 15AH at $499 or 17AH at $599. The table lists Samsung 18650 cells in a 13S5P configuration, with one 672WH Rate row that the store's own FAQ formula contradicts.

Our verdict
Worth considering for owners of the listed FAT-HS, DEFENDER, URUS, META, FAT-AWD or FAT-HD2.0 bikes who want a 15AH or 17AH 48V pack and can accept an unresolved energy figure. A different pack suits better if you need a weight, dimensions or a single consistent watt-hour rating. The main caveat is the 672WH Rate row, which matches neither capacity under the store's own formula.
- Best for
- Owners of the listed FAT-HS, DEFENDER, URUS, META, FAT-AWD or FAT-HD2.0 bikes who want a 15AH or 17AH 48V pack.
- Skip if
- You need a stated weight and size, or one watt-hour figure that matches the capacity.
Why 3.5/5: The store's published battery terms add to the rating, but the page's self-contradiction on a figure and the company's BBB profile (F grade, no accreditation, two unanswered complaints) take from it.
Eunorau lists this 48V pack for a long run of its own bikes: FAT-HS, DEFENDER S, DEFENDER, URUS, META20, META24, META26, META275, FAT-AWD 2.0, FAT-AWD 3.0 and FAT-HD2.0. It comes as 15AH at $499 or 17AH at $599, and the table lists aluminum 6061/PC+ABS as the material, Samsung 18650 cells and a 13S5P configuration.

Options and pricing
Two capacity options are offered: 48V 15AH at $499 and 48V 17AH at $599, both in stock when read, which gives the From $499 starting price. There is no crossed-out price or color choice, a single Rate row covers both capacities, and a charger is not mentioned.
How it compares
The Eunorau SPECTER E-Bike Replacement Battery also starts from $499 and is listed only for the SPECTER-S and SPECTER-ST, while this page covers a longer list of bikes. The Eunorau Universal 48V 15Ah Secondary Battery is $499 for 15Ah, and the Eunorau MAX / G20 / G30 Cargo Bike Battery is $459.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping: the shipping page says accessories and batteries go by FedEx or UPS in an estimated 5 to 9 days after 1 to 3 business days of processing; orders over $100 ship free and smaller orders pay $14.99, with a possible remote-area charge. If the local warehouse is out of stock, the item ships from an overseas warehouse in an estimated 10 to 15 business days, and there may be no carrier tracking until it reaches the destination country and clears customs. The FAQ gives 15 to 20 days for batteries sent from China. Returns: an order can be cancelled for a full refund before it ships or is produced, but not after it ships; the page asks buyers not to refuse a delivered e-bike and to contact the store instead. A return must be applied for within 7 calendar days of receipt, the product must be new and re-sellable (not assembled, ridden, used or damaged) and complete with its manuals, accessories and original packaging, and the buyer ships it back within 7 days at their own cost to Eunorau's warehouses in the US, Australia, Europe or the UK. The store inspects it within 5 days and refunds in full when the fault is Eunorau's (wrong, damaged or defective item) or minus the shipping cost when the reason is the customer's. The terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee, which does not match the return page's wording. Warranty: the warranty page lists 24 months for the battery, covering manufacturing defects only; it is void if the battery's seals are broken, if the wrong or a misused charger was used, or if the battery was used in equipment other than the bike it is specified for. It is for the original purchaser, excludes shipping damage (report it at once with photos or video) and does not cover labor. Disputes under the warranty go to binding individual arbitration (AAA rules, Nevada law) unless the buyer emails an opt-out within 30 days of purchase.
Before you buy
The page shows 2 customer reviews with 100% of them five-star in the store's own widget, which we could not verify; several product pages show the same review counts or lists, so the figure may not belong to this item alone. Reputation: Eunorau E-Mobility USA Corp has an F grade on the Better Business Bureau, is not BBB accredited and has 2 complaints on file, both marked unanswered: a December 2025 request for proof that a bike sold as new was new, and a May 2025 report of a battery cover that would not latch, which the buyer attributes to a frame defect. A web search on 21 October 2026 found no Trustpilot page for Eunorau. The store says it has specialised in e-bikes since 2009 and designs its bikes in the US and manufactures them in Shanghai, while the BBB lists a business start date of 12 December 2019; the eunorau-ebike.com domain was registered on 27 July 2016.
What we liked
- An explicit fitment list covers FAT-HS, DEFENDER, URUS, META, FAT-AWD and FAT-HD2.0 models
- Two capacities, 15AH and 17AH, with a price for each
- Cell and pack details are given: Samsung 18650, Li-ion, 13S5P, Model No. SSE-103 and a 54.6V charge voltage limit
- The charging port is named as Dual-DC2.1
Worth noting
- One Rate row (672WH) covers both capacities, while the store's formula gives 720Wh for 15Ah and 816Wh for 17Ah
- The table gives no weight or size
- The listing does not mention whether a charger comes with the pack
- Cycle life of 500 Times has no stated test conditions
