Our verdict

Fits commuters who want a torque-sensor city cruiser with a step-over frame and a removable battery, and who accept a 48V 13Ah pack with up to 35 Miles listed on one battery. Look elsewhere if you want a larger battery included or an independent test of this exact version. The main caveat is that the independent write-up covers an earlier Meta275 and measured nothing.

Why 3.8/5: Lifted by a detailed specification table and an independent write-up of an earlier version of this model. Held back because that write-up is older than the page and measured nothing, and by the company's F grade on its BBB profile.

A step-over city cruiser, the META275 1.0 pairs a 500W rear hub motor with a 48V 13Ah battery, a torque sensor and 27.5 x 2.6-inch tires, and the page lists it at $1,699 with Class 2 (speed limited, unlockable) and a range of up to 35 Miles, 65 with a second battery. An Electrek write-up from 2023 covers an earlier Meta275 of the same family that may not match this 1.0 page: it lists specifications, measures and times nothing, names the torque sensor and a thru-axle front hub as positives and the motor, the 624Wh battery and the 20 mph limit as negatives, and calls the bike 'pretty much a dream' for bike-lane commuters.

Options and pricing

The page shows a crossed-out price of $1,799.00 beside the current $1,699. Two colors, Black and Gray, are offered in one style, Step Over, and both variants showed as in stock when the page was read. The specification table lists a 48V 13Ah battery with an optional second battery of 15Ah/17Ah, and the accessory list shows a Universal 48V15Ah Secondary Battery tagged FREE with $499.00 beside it, a suspension seatpost at $159.00, a C8 saddle at $49.00 and a helmet at $39.99.

How it compares

Beside the Eunorau META275 2.0 Torque-Sensor Commuter E-Bike, this 1.0 page keeps the same $1,699 and 27.5 x 2.6 tires but lists a smaller pack: 48V13Ah and up to 35 Miles (65 with a second battery), where the 2.0 header strip says 48V15Ah and up to 100 Miles. The Eunorau META26 1.0 Commuter E-Bike lists 26 x 3.0 tires and 48V15Ah at $1,699, and the Eunorau FLASH LITE 2.0 E-Bike lists a 750W motor and a 52V16Ah battery at $1,899.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping: the shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from warehouses in Las Vegas, with 1 to 3 business days of processing and an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit; Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 shipping option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days), and carriers can add a charge for remote areas. Returns: an order can be cancelled for a full refund before it ships or is produced, but not after it ships; the page asks buyers not to refuse a delivered e-bike and to contact the store instead. A return must be applied for within 7 calendar days of receipt, the product must be new and re-sellable (not assembled, ridden, used or damaged) and complete with its manuals, accessories and original packaging, and the buyer ships it back within 7 days at their own cost to Eunorau's warehouses in the US, Australia, Europe or the UK. The store inspects it within 5 days and refunds in full when the fault is Eunorau's (wrong, damaged or defective item) or minus the shipping cost when the reason is the customer's. The terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee, which does not match the return page's wording. Warranty: the 24-Month+ Limited Warranty on bikes bought in the US or Canada from 1 August 2023 covers manufacturing defects only: the frame for 10 years and the battery, motor and electrical components for 24 months, without labor or normal wear (brake pads, rotors, spokes, grips, shifters, cables, tires, chains, chainrings, cassettes). It is for the original purchaser, needs product registration right after purchase and an inspection by an authorized specialist or dealer after the first year, is cut by 50% for commercial use, does not cover free gifts or pre-installed racks and fenders, and excludes shipping damage (report it at once with photos or video). Disputes under the warranty go to binding individual arbitration (AAA rules, Nevada law) unless the buyer emails an opt-out within 30 days of purchase.

Before you buy

The page shows 247 customer reviews with 81% of them five-star in the store's own widget, which we could not verify; several product pages show the same review counts or lists, so the figure may not belong to this item alone. Reputation: Eunorau E-Mobility USA Corp has an F grade on the Better Business Bureau, is not BBB accredited and has 2 complaints on file, both marked unanswered: a December 2025 request for proof that a bike sold as new was new, and a May 2025 report of a battery cover that would not latch, which the buyer attributes to a frame defect. A web search on 21 October 2026 found no Trustpilot page for Eunorau. The store says it has specialised in e-bikes since 2009 and designs its bikes in the US and manufactures them in Shanghai, while the BBB lists a business start date of 12 December 2019; the eunorau-ebike.com domain was registered on 27 July 2016. The page shows a live 'people are viewing this right now' counter, which we could not verify. The page marks a 'Free Gift Included' item in its accessories list and does not say whether the offer ends. The page shows a crossed-out regular price and a 'Save' amount or percentage; those are the store's own comparison figures. The store's FAQ defines Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes by assist or throttle and a 20 or 28 mph limit and says laws vary by state and country, so check local rules; many bike pages list a speed limit as 'Unlockable'.

What we liked

  • Torque sensor that the page says adds motor power as you pedal harder, with the motor listed at max 65 N.m torque
  • The page says the battery is removable with a twist of a key
  • SHIMANO push-button 9 speed shifting with 180mm hydraulic disc brakes and motor cutoff levers
  • Weight (68.3 lbs), payload (286 lbs), rider heights and box size are all listed
  • An app is described with calorie tracking, trip records, social networking and OTA updates

Worth noting

  • Electrek (2023, earlier version) found the motor 'not exactly the most powerful' and the 624Wh battery 'not the largest'
  • The page lists up to 35 Miles on one battery and 65 only with a second, with no test conditions
  • One style, Step Over, is offered, and no frame size is given, only a rider-height range
  • The page says Eunorau may substitute components of at least equal quality without notice when a part is unavailable, so listed parts may differ

Questions before you buy

Is the battery removable, and what are its details?

The page says the battery system is removable with a twist of a key. The specification table lists 48V 13Ah, lithium-ion, a US standard 2.0 A smart charger and a charging time of 4 - 6 hours, with a second battery of 15Ah/17Ah optional.

What does the app do?

The page describes an app, offered in addition to the LCD display, where you can sync information, and lists calorie tracking, trip records, social networking and OTA updates. The display shows battery life, riding speed and mileage, per the page, and the table names it a BC182 LCD display.

What gears and brakes does it have?

The table lists a SHIMANO push-button 9 speed shifter with a 9-speed freewheel, 180mm hydraulic disc brakes, levers with a motor cutoff switch and a thumb throttle.

How is a Eunorau e-bike shipped and how long does it take?

The shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from Las Vegas warehouses after 1 to 3 business days of processing, with an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit. Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days).

What is the return window?

The return page gives 7 calendar days from receipt to apply. The item must be new, unused and complete in its original packaging, and the buyer pays the return shipping to Eunorau's warehouse; the refund is full only when the fault is Eunorau's. Orders can be cancelled for free before they ship.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty page lists 10 years on the frame and 24 months on the battery, motor and electrical components for bikes bought in the US or Canada after 1 August 2023. It covers manufacturing defects only, needs registration, and excludes wear items, labor and shipping damage.

Does Eunorau offer financing?

Every product page says 'Pay in interest-free installments' under Flexible Payment but names no provider, terms or limits, and we found no payment page, so ask the store before relying on it.

What we couldn’t verify

  • The Electrek article covers an earlier version of the Meta275, carries affiliate links and a coupon, and does not say who supplied the bike; its battery and weight figures are stated, not measured.
  • The page's range of 35-65 Miles has no test conditions, and the header strip gives the second battery as 15Ah while the table lists 15Ah/17Ah.
  • The page's header strip says 'UL CERTIFIED: Yes' without naming a standard, test lab or certificate number; we found none.
  • The return page says the buyer pays return shipping, while the terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee.
