Eunorau NEW-TRIKE 2.0 Electric Trike Review
A folding front-drive electric trike listed at $1,999 (the page shows $2,499 crossed out) with a 500W motor, a 48V20Ah battery, 20" x 3.0" tires and a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain. It suits riders who want a backrest and a parking brake; the page lists a 440LBS payload and gives no weight.

Our verdict
Aimed at riders who want a folding front-drive trike with a 48V20Ah battery, hydraulic disc brakes, a parking brake and a 440LBS payload at $1,999. Look elsewhere if you need a listed weight or a range backed by a test. The main caveat is that the coverage located is a sponsored review of a much older version, so every figure for the 2.0 is the store's own.
- Best for
- Riders who want a folding front-drive trike with a 48V20Ah battery, a parking brake and a listed 440LBS payload.
- Skip if
- You need a listed weight or a range backed by a test.
Why 3.7/5: Lifted by a specification table with motor, battery, brakes, tires and payload; held back because the one review located is a sponsored review of a much older version, leaving nothing independent of the company, and by a BBB profile with an F grade and two unanswered complaints.
Among the upgrades the page lists for the NEW-TRIKE 2.0 are an adjustable backrest, a parking brake, hydraulic brakes and a 48V20Ah battery; it is a folding front-drive trike listed at $1,999 with a 500W motor and 20 x 3.0 INNOVA tires. Electric Bike Review's coverage of the 2019 NEW-TRIKE concerns a much older version than this 2.0: the review itself says it was sponsored by Eunorau and that the trike has been updated since, and it listed 80.5 lb, a 48V 11.4Ah battery and an estimated range of 10-25 miles, with a positive but qualified verdict.

Options and pricing
Three colors are shown, Deep Crimson, Teal Blue and Cloud White, at one price of $1,999, all in stock when read; the page shows a crossed-out price of $2,499 beside it. The listing names one battery, 48V20Ah, and the specification table says tools are included. The copy mentions front and rear baskets, including a large rear alloy basket with a solid wooden base, but the table does not list them as separate items.
How it compares
Within the trike group, the Eunorau ONE-TRIKE 2.0 Electric Trike is the lower-priced option at $1,799 with a rear-drive 500W motor, a 48V14.5Ah battery and up to 50 Miles, while the Eunorau T1 Recumbent Electric Trike is $2,999 with a 52V 750W motor, a 52V 16Ah battery and up to 28 miles. This trike sits between them at $1,999 with a 48V20Ah battery and a 60-100 Miles range. A Eunorau NEW-TRIKE / ONE-TRIKE Battery is listed from $499.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping: the shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from warehouses in Las Vegas, with 1 to 3 business days of processing and an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit; Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 shipping option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days), and carriers can add a charge for remote areas. Returns: an order can be cancelled for a full refund before it ships or is produced, but not after it ships; the page asks buyers not to refuse a delivered e-bike and to contact the store instead. A return must be applied for within 7 calendar days of receipt, the product must be new and re-sellable (not assembled, ridden, used or damaged) and complete with its manuals, accessories and original packaging, and the buyer ships it back within 7 days at their own cost to Eunorau's warehouses in the US, Australia, Europe or the UK. The store inspects it within 5 days and refunds in full when the fault is Eunorau's (wrong, damaged or defective item) or minus the shipping cost when the reason is the customer's. The terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee, which does not match the return page's wording. Warranty: the 24-Month+ Limited Warranty on bikes bought in the US or Canada from 1 August 2023 covers manufacturing defects only: the frame for 10 years and the battery, motor and electrical components for 24 months, without labor or normal wear (brake pads, rotors, spokes, grips, shifters, cables, tires, chains, chainrings, cassettes). It is for the original purchaser, needs product registration right after purchase and an inspection by an authorized specialist or dealer after the first year, is cut by 50% for commercial use, does not cover free gifts or pre-installed racks and fenders, and excludes shipping damage (report it at once with photos or video). Disputes under the warranty go to binding individual arbitration (AAA rules, Nevada law) unless the buyer emails an opt-out within 30 days of purchase.
Before you buy
The page shows 194 customer reviews with 100% of them five-star in the store's own widget, which we could not verify; several product pages show the same review counts or lists, so the figure may not belong to this item alone. Reputation: Eunorau E-Mobility USA Corp has an F grade on the Better Business Bureau, is not BBB accredited and has 2 complaints on file, both marked unanswered: a December 2025 request for proof that a bike sold as new was new, and a May 2025 report of a battery cover that would not latch, which the buyer attributes to a frame defect. A web search on 21 October 2026 found no Trustpilot page for Eunorau. The store says it has specialised in e-bikes since 2009 and designs its bikes in the US and manufactures them in Shanghai, while the BBB lists a business start date of 12 December 2019; the eunorau-ebike.com domain was registered on 27 July 2016. The page shows a live 'people are viewing this right now' counter, which we could not verify. The page shows a crossed-out regular price and a 'Save' amount or percentage; those are the store's own comparison figures. The store's FAQ defines Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes by assist or throttle and a 20 or 28 mph limit and says laws vary by state and country, so check local rules; many bike pages list a speed limit as 'Unlockable'.
What we liked
- 48V20Ah battery with Samsung cells per the page, and a stated charging time of 4 - 6 hours
- Hydraulic 180MM disc brakes with a motor cut-off sensor and a parking brake
- Folding frame and telescoping stem with a quick-release clamp, per the page
- SHIMANO 7-Speed gear system with a 46T chain-wheel crank and a cadence sensor
- 440LBS payload and an extra large rear alloy basket with a solid wooden base
Worth noting
- No weight is listed for this trike anywhere on the page
- A reviewer of the 2019 NEW-TRIKE listed plastic folding pedals, a headlight under the basket and a display without battery percentage as cons
- That reviewer also called the older trike heavy and large and said folding does not make it very compact; the 2.0 page gives no weight or folded size
- The listed range is a wide 60-100 Miles with no test conditions
- The 20MPH maximum applies 'under speed limited/locked'; the page does not say what speed it allows unlocked
Questions before you buy
What battery does the NEW-TRIKE 2.0 use and how long does it take to charge?
The specification table lists a 48V20Ah lithium-ion battery with Samsung cells, a battery charging time of 4 - 6 hours and a US standard 2.0 A smart charger. The copy says the battery sits behind the seatpost and that a battery switch controls power flow.
What changed in the 2.0 version?
The page says the 2.0 adds an adjustable backrest, a parking brake and a new color, moves to a 48V 20Ah battery from the initial 13Ah and adds a hydraulic brake system, all at the same price as the 1.0.
How many assist levels and gears does it have?
The table lists a cadence sensor with 0 to 5 level pedal assist, a half twist throttle and a SHIMANO 7-Speed gear shift system with a 14-28T freewheel.
How is a Eunorau e-bike shipped and how long does it take?
The shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from Las Vegas warehouses after 1 to 3 business days of processing, with an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit. Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days).
What is the return window?
The return page gives 7 calendar days from receipt to apply. The item must be new, unused and complete in its original packaging, and the buyer pays the return shipping to Eunorau's warehouse; the refund is full only when the fault is Eunorau's. Orders can be cancelled for free before they ship.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty page lists 10 years on the frame and 24 months on the battery, motor and electrical components for bikes bought in the US or Canada after 1 August 2023. It covers manufacturing defects only, needs registration, and excludes wear items, labor and shipping damage.
Does Eunorau offer financing?
Every product page says 'Pay in interest-free installments' under Flexible Payment but names no provider, terms or limits, and we found no payment page, so ask the store before relying on it.

What we couldn’t verify
- The page says Eunorau may substitute components of at least equal quality without notice when an advertised component is unavailable, so the listed parts may differ from what a buyer gets.
- The copy cites 'over 750 peak watts' for a 500W continuous motor and a 60-100 Miles range, with no test or source for either figure.
- The page's header strip says 'UL CERTIFIED: Yes' without naming a standard, test lab or certificate number; we found none.
- The return page says the buyer pays return shipping, while the terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee.
