FiiO BTR13 Bluetooth DAC/Amp Review
A portable Bluetooth 5.1 and USB DAC and headphone amp with two CS43131 chips and 3.5mm plus 4.4mm outputs, listed at $69.99. It suits phone and laptop users who want one device for both sources.

Our verdict
A fit for phone or laptop users who want a Bluetooth decoder and USB DAC and amp with both 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs at $69.99. Look elsewhere if you need documented codecs, battery life or output figures stated with a load, since the page text gives none. Mind the short page text: the 220mW claim comes with no load, and the page text has no codec or battery detail.
- Best for
- Phone or laptop users who want Bluetooth and USB sources with 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs.
- Skip if
- You need a codec list, a battery figure or output power stated with a load.
Why 3.4/5: Held back by short page text with most of its claims in pictures that were not read, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and because no independent test of this model was checked for this review.
The FiiO BTR13 combines a Bluetooth decoder, a USB sound card and a headphone amplifier in one portable device and is listed at $69.99. The page names two CS43131 DAC chips, one per channel, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs and a 0.96-inch color IPS display. Its text is short and lists no codecs, battery figure or sample rates.

Options and pricing
Two colors are listed, BTR13-Black and BTR13-Blue, each at $69.99 and available to order when the listing was read. The page text does not say what is in the box or which cables come with it.
How it compares
The BTR13 carries Bluetooth 5.1 in its title, which the units it is compared with here do not. The Fosi Audio SK02 ES9038Q2M Compact Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier at $84.99 is named as a desktop DAC and amp built on an ES9038Q2M chip, and the E1DA Susumu edition 9038SG3 USB DAC Headphone Amp from $93.99 is named as a USB DAC and headphone amp. At $69.99 the BTR13 suits phone users who want a wireless option; the other two are named as a desktop unit and a USB unit.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Two CS43131 DAC chips, one per channel, per the page
- 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs on one device
- Bluetooth and USB sound card modes with one-click switching, per the page
- 0.96-inch color IPS display and in-line controls to the CTIA standard
- A car mode that, per the page, turns the unit on and off with the car
Worth noting
- No Bluetooth codec list, battery figure, sample-rate figure or weight appears in the page text
- The 220mW balanced output figure has no load impedance, and the page text does not name what its 282% increase is measured against
- The page text is short, and any detail carried in its pictures is not covered here
Questions before you buy
Which DAC chips does the BTR13 use?
The page names dual CS43131 chips in a fully balanced design, with each channel processed by one CS43131.
Which headphone outputs does it have?
A 3.5mm output and a 4.4mm output, per the page. It gives 220mW as the balanced output power but the page text names no load impedance.
Does it work as a USB sound card?
The page lists dual Bluetooth and USB sound card modes with one-click switching, and describes the device as a computer sound card, Bluetooth decoder and phone dongle in one. The page text does not list Bluetooth codecs or sample rates.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The page text gives 220mW balanced output power with no load impedance, and a 282% increase without saying what it is compared with.
- The Bluetooth and USB modes are called high-res, but the page text lists no sample rates, bit depths or codecs, and no battery figure, size or weight; claims carried in its pictures were not read.
- The BTR13-Blue option is named 'Expected to ship in April' with no year, while the page showed it as orderable at the same price as the Black one.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
