FiiO SNOWSKY DISC Music Player Review
A music player listed at $99.99 in black, pink or sky blue. The pictures give a round 1.8-inch touchscreen, dual CS43131 DACs, 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs, microSD storage up to 2TB, LDAC Bluetooth 5.4 and a 68x68x12.9mm body. Despite the DISC name, the pictures we read mention no disc drive.

Our verdict
A fit for listeners who want a 68x68x12.9mm file player with a 4.4mm balanced output, two CS43131 DACs and LDAC Bluetooth at $99.99. Look elsewhere if you want a disc source, since no picture we read mentions a drive, or working Roon support, which a footnote says is still being worked on. Every spec figure is a pictured claim on HiFiGO's page, and no independent test was checked for this review.
- Best for
- Listeners who want a 77.2g file player with a 4.4mm balanced output and LDAC Bluetooth.
- Skip if
- You want a disc player or working Roon support, which a footnote says is still being worked on.
Why 3.3/5: Held back by pictures with no specification text behind them, by text panels that were not opened here, by the store's own terms contradicting each other, and because no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.
The FiiO SNOWSKY DISC pairs a round touchscreen with two DACs, according to the page's pictures, and HiFiGO lists it at $99.99 in black, pink and sky blue. Those pictures name CS43131 DACs, a 1.8-inch 360x360 display, an Ingenic X2000 processor, 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs, microSD storage up to 2TB, Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC, a 1450mAh battery and a 68x68x12.9mm body. The name says DISC, but the pictures we read describe a file player and mention no disc drive.

Options and pricing
Three colors are listed at $99.99 each and were orderable when the page was read: DISC Black, DISC Pink and DISC Sky Blue. The packing list in a picture names the DISC, a USB data cable, a quick start guide and a sticker. A footnote on the first picture says pictures are for reference only and the actual product may vary.
How it compares
The FiiO SNOWSKY Echo Mini 512MB Portable Music Player is $67.99 and is named a portable music player, like the DISC at $99.99. The FiiO DP11 CS43198 Desktop CD Digital Transport is $169.99 and is named a desktop CD transport, so it is the one to check for a disc source. The SMSL SU-2 / SU2 ES9039Q2M High Resolution Desktop DAC is also $99.99 and is named a desktop DAC, which suits a desktop setup where the DISC is a standalone player.
Shipping, returns and warranty
HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.
Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.
HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.
FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.
On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.
What we liked
- Two CS43131 DACs and both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs, per the pictures
- Output power is pictured with a load and voltage: at least 280mW+280mW and 125mW+125mW at 32Ω
- Digital routes pictured: coaxial output, USB DAC mode and USB audio output
- microSD storage up to 2TB, Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC and WiFi connectivity listed in the pictures
- Size and weight pictured: about 68x68x12.9mm and 77.2g

- The pictures give two output power figures without saying which output each is for
- The coaxial output shares the 3.5mm jack with the single-ended headphone output, per the pictures
- A pictured footnote says Roon Ready functionality is still being worked on and will arrive in a later firmware update
- The description is 18 pictures with no specification text, and several text panels were not opened for this review
Questions before you buy
Does the SNOWSKY DISC play discs?
The pictures we read describe a player that reads files from a microSD card (up to 2TB) and list no disc drive; its pictured buttons and ports are power, play, volume, a 4.4mm port, a 3.5mm port, a microSD slot and Type-C. The store tags it as a CD Player.
How much output power does it list, and where?
A spec picture gives two figures, both at 32Ω with THD+N under 1%: at least 280mW+280mW (3.0Vrms) and at least 125mW+125mW (2.0Vrms). It does not say which output each belongs to. It also lists an SNR of at least 129dB (A-weighted).
Which digital outputs and wireless features are listed?
A 3.5mm coaxial output shared with the headphone jack (PCM 192kHz/24bit, DSD64 via DOP), USB DAC mode (PCM 384kHz/32bit), a USB audio output (PCM 768kHz/32bit), Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC and WiFi. A footnote says Roon Ready functionality is being worked on.
Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?
From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.
What warranty does HiFiGO give?
One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify
- The pictures print the brand as SNOWSKY (lanyard, manual and card) and no FiiO wordmark appeared in the 8 opened pictures, while the store lists FiiO as the vendor and tags the item as a CD Player.
- The picture gives two output power figures without naming the output each is for; the Hi-Res logos, the 12 hours battery line and the 30 seconds for 5000 tracks scan line are claims whose conditions the pictures read for this review do not state.
- The warranty card in the packing-list picture is printed in Chinese that could not be read, so no warranty period is known.
- HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
- HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
- FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
