Storck Erde.2 City Electric Bike Review

A single-speed belt-drive city e-bike from Storck's e:Raddar line at €2,399; the page lists a 250W 60 Nm mid-drive, a 360 Wh removable battery, an aluminum step-over frame and a net 19kg. It is pitched at flat city commutes, and Storck's own shop showed €1,799 on 2026-10-22.

Our verdict

The erde.2 may suit a commuter on flat city routes who wants a single-speed belt-drive bike listed at a net 19kg, with a documented specification and app features. Riders who want gears should look elsewhere, since the page itself pitches the single speed at flat city riding, and so should buyers who would rather pay Storck's own price. The main caveat is that this store's wheel size, sizes, colors and price differ from Storck's own page, so it may be selling an earlier version at €2,399 against €1,799 there.

Why 3.2/5: A full specification table that matches Storck's own page on most points, plus outside coverage of the erde.2 line, lift it; a wheel size, sizes, colors and a €2,399 price that differ from Storck's page (€1,799), and store pages copied from Totem USA, hold it back.

This is the one PRO TOUR page whose long description belongs to the bike on sale: Storck's e:Raddar erde.2, a single-speed city e-bike with a 250W, 60 Nm mid-drive, a 360 Wh removable battery, a Gates belt drive and an aluminum step-over frame with a rigid fork, at €2,399. A full table adds a net weight of 19kg and a 3-4 hour charge. Outside coverage exists for the model line, not for this store's unit: in October 2023 bike-x.de published an Elektrobike review based on rides in Stuttgart on a size S bike; it gave the weight as 21.6 kg, called the assist 'surprisingly strong' and scored the bike 705 points (maximum not stated), grade 'gut' (good).

Options and pricing

Four variants are listed, all at €2,399 and all in stock when read: Urban Umber or Metro Slate, each in size M (164-185 cm) or L (180-195+ cm), and the table gives a rider height of 164cm-195cm overall. The page shows no crossed-out price. Its table lists an SKS C65R mudguard, an adjustable stand and an e:RADDAR rack as included. Storck's own page names other sizes (M 170-182 cm, XL 182-195 cm) and colors (Grey, Brown), so this store may be selling an earlier version.

How it compares

Beside it, the PROTOUR M920 City Electric Bike costs €899 and its page states a 250W motor, 25 km/h and a 40-60 km range, with a manual giving a 5-7 hour charge and IP54, but its photos show a mountain-bike-style frame and no battery capacity is given. The PROTOUR City 5.3 Urban Electric Bike at €1,199 has no specification at all; its photos show a step-through frame, a down-tube battery and a motor housing at the cranks. At €2,399 the Storck is the one of the three with a stated battery capacity, torque, weight and drivetrain.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Where it sells: the store's country selector lists 25 EU countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden), with prices in euros (a few countries in their own currency); there is no option for the US, UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Shipping: each product page says every order ships free by DHL or UPS, except to Cyprus and Malta, in 3 to 7 business days. The separate shipping policy page says something else: free shipping to the lower 48 US states, a flat fee for refused shipments, and 'Totem' as the company shipping by FedEx and USPS, with a Totem USA support address, so it is another company's text and cannot be relied on. Returns: product pages give 30 days in three cases (an unopened item with proof of purchase, a defective motor, battery or frame shown with photos or video, and a 'ride trial' return if the bike was ridden under 10 km and shows no wear), a prepaid label and a refund 3 days after inspection, and exclude used products, batteries, special orders and accidental damage. The return policy page says 30 days for unworn items in original packaging, adds that sale items cannot be returned, gives EU buyers a 14-day cooling-off right and still tells you to send returns to '[INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]', a template placeholder. Warranty: product pages show a '2-Year Warranty' label; the warranty policy page is the limited warranty of Totem USA LLC of McKinney, Texas, which covers US purchases only (frame for life, electronics 1 year) and names Totem bikes. Payment: the store's Klarna page offers monthly payments in 3, 6 or 12 installments.

Before you buy

The page shows no customer reviews. Company: the store's legal page names PRO TOUR BIKE at Aleea Zambilelor 28, Piatra Neamt, Romania, with business registration number 51300185, which we could not check against a registry. The About page says the bikes are 'Crafted in Czech' by three factories, and a page titled 'test' calls PROTOUR the flagship e-bike brand of Golden Wheel Group, active since 1987, with 258 tests per bike; no certificate or test report is linked. The domain was registered on 19 February 2025. Trustpilot has no profile for protourbike.com, and web searches on 22 October 2026 found no independent review of the store. The same long description sits on the store's four PROTOUR and T-BIRD pages, where it does not describe the bike shown. The review shows the code FACESTORE. A cart test on 22 October 2026, made without the affiliate link, took a fixed €300 off each of the five bikes, for example €899 down to €599 on the M920 and €2,399 down to €2,099 on the Storck; if the discount line is missing from your cart, enter FACESTORE at checkout.

What we liked

  • A full specification table: motor, battery, charger, weight, max load, drivetrain, brakes, wheels and cockpit parts
  • Its 250W, 60 Nm, 360 Wh, 1-speed belt drive, aluminum frame and fork and Tektro HD-E275 brakes match Storck's own product page
  • A single-speed Gates belt drive, which the page describes as low-maintenance
  • A listed net weight of 19kg, a removable battery and a 3-4 hour charging time
  • The page lists the My e:Raddar app for battery status, assist levels, speed and cadence, lights, security features and navigation

Worth noting

  • The store asks €2,399, while Storck's own shop showed €1,799 incl. VAT on 2026-10-22
  • The table's 29-inch wheelset and 29x2.35 tires conflict with Storck's own page, which lists a 27.5-inch wheelset
  • The sizes (M, L) and colors (Urban Umber, Metro Slate) differ from Storck's page (M, XL; Grey, Brown), so this may be an earlier version
  • Single speed only, and the page itself pitches it at flat city riding
  • The 2023 outside review calls the riding position stretched, and it was based on a size S bike, a size this store does not list

Questions before you buy

What motor and battery does the Storck erde.2 have?

The page lists an e:RADDAR mid-drive rated at 250W and 60 Nm and an e:RADDAR 360 Wh battery that is removable and internal, charged by a 36V 2A charger in 3-4 hours. Storck's own page gives the same 250 Watt, 60 Nm and 36 V, 360 Wh figures.

Which size should I choose?

The store lists M for riders of 164-185 cm and L for 180-195+ cm, and its table gives 164cm-195cm overall. Storck's own page lists different sizes, M at 170-182 cm and XL at 182-195 cm, so it is worth asking the store which version it sells before choosing.

How far does it go on a charge?

The page claims more than 50km in ECO mode, based on a 70kg rider on flat terrain, and says actual range may vary. Storck's own page gives no range figure.

Does PRO TOUR ship outside the EU?

Not according to its country selector, which lists 25 EU countries with prices in euros and no US, UK, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand option. The shipping policy page that mentions the US lower 48 is Totem USA's text. Ask [email protected] before ordering from outside the EU.

What is the return window?

Product pages say 30 days in three cases: an unopened item, a defective motor, battery or frame, or a ride-trial return under 10 km. The return policy page says 30 days, bars returns of sale items, gives EU buyers a 14-day cooling-off right and still shows '[INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]', so confirm the process with support before you buy.

What warranty do the bikes carry?

Product pages show a 2-year warranty label. The M920 manual says 24 months on the frame and 12 months on battery and motor, while the warranty policy page is Totem USA's US-only text with different terms. Ask [email protected] for the terms that apply to your bike in writing.

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page's table lists a 29" spoked wheelset and Schwalbe AL Grounder 29x2.35/60-584 tires, while Storck's own page (read 2026-10-22) lists a 27.5-inch wheelset and Schwalbe AL Grounder 27,5x2,35/60-584.
  • The store asks €2,399; Storck's own shop showed €1,799 incl. VAT, with €2,799 crossed out, on 2026-10-22. The store's sizes (M 164-185 cm, L 180-195+ cm) and colors (Urban Umber, Metro Slate) differ from Storck's (M 170-182 cm, XL 182-195 cm; Grey, Brown), so it may sell an earlier version.
  • The 2023 review covers the e:Raddar erde.2 line, not this store's unit: it reports no range or power measurements, does not say who supplied the bike or what it cost, and gives 21.6 kg where the page lists a net 19kg.
  • The shipping and warranty policy pages are copies of another company's text (Totem USA) and the return page keeps a placeholder address, so the product tabs' shipping, return and warranty terms cannot be checked against a policy.
  • The store ties PROTOUR to Golden Wheel Group and says the bikes are crafted in Czechia, while its legal page gives a Romanian address; no company registry or certificate was available to check either claim.
