Our verdict

Aimed at a buyer who wants a $219 hybrid IEM in a choice of three colors, with impedance, sensitivity and distortion stated in a pictured table. Look elsewhere if you need a stated plug size, a driver count the pictures give one way, or measurements from someone other than the store. Every spec figure is the page's own and was read from its pictures.

Why 3.3/5: The store's own terms contradict each other, the page text gives no text specification list, its short text leaves most claims in pictures rather than text, and no independent test was checked for this review: every figure is the store's own.

The Tipsy M3 comes in three listed colors at $219 each, and HiFiGO's page description is 27 pictures, not text. One picture is a parameter table that gives a single-side layout of 1 moving coil plus 2 moving iron, 17 Ω at 1kHz, 105dB/1mW at 1KHz and an effective frequency response of 20 - 20kHz.

Options and pricing

Three options are listed, all at $219 and all orderable when read: M3-Black White, M3-Red and M3-Green. The pictured parameter table names the colors as Flame red, emerald, black and white cp. A cable picture says the original tc40 four-strand cable is standard and also says 0.78 double-needle neutral replaceable headphone cable slots; none of the pictures read states the plug size.

How it compares

The JUZEAR POISE Series FLAME 1DD+4BA Hybrid In-Ear Earphone Monitor costs $152.10 and names 1DD+4BA, where the M3 at $219 names 1DD+2BA; the FLAME's spec gives a resistance of 48Ω against the M3's 17 Ω@1kHz. The TFZ/KING RS HIFI IEM Earphones Hybrid 4nd Driver Unit Gold Diaphragm is $238 and its name reads Hybrid 4nd Driver Unit Gold Diaphragm. The M3 suits a buyer who wants a lower stated impedance and three colors to choose from; the FLAME suits one who wants a 4BA count in the name.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • A pictured parameter table gives impedance (17 Ω@1kHz), sensitivity (105dB/1mW@1KHz) and distortion (below 1%@1kHz) with test frequencies
  • The table states the driver layout per side: 1 moving coil + 2 moving iron
  • Three color options at the same $219
  • A cable picture describes a 0.78 double-needle 4-strand alloy copper braided cable with replaceable cable slots, as the picture words it
  • A frequency response graph and a distortion graph are pictured, with axes of 20-20k and 0.0-4.0 %

Worth noting

  • A drawing labels one moving iron unit per earpiece while the table and title say 2 moving iron per side
  • The distortion graph begins at the top of its 0.0-4.0 % axis at 20Hz, while a picture claims less than 1% distortion for the full frequency band
  • None of the pictures read states the plug size
  • Many of the 27 pictures were read as headlines only

Questions before you buy

What drivers does the Tipsy M3 list?

The title says 1DD+2BA and the pictured table says Single side: 1 moving coil + 2 moving iron, with a 9.2mm pet titanium-plated diaphragm moving coil unit for low frequencies and a Tipsy customized composite moving iron unit. One drawing labels a single moving iron unit per earpiece, which conflicts with the table.

What impedance and sensitivity does the M3 list?

A pictured table gives 17 Ω@1kHz and 105dB/1mW@1KHz, with an effective frequency response of 20 - 20kHz and distortion below 1%@1kHz.

Which cable does the M3 use?

The table and a cable picture describe a 0.78 double needle four-strand high-purity alloy copper braided wire, and the picture mentions neutral replaceable headphone cable slots. The pictures read give no plug size.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • CONFLICT: a drawing labels one moving iron unit per earpiece while the table and title say 2 moving iron per side; a distortion graph starts at the top of its 0.0-4.0 % axis at 20Hz although a picture claims less than 1% distortion for the full frequency band.
  • SERVICE CLAIM: a picture headline advertises customized packaging with free engraving; this review has not checked it. Picture claims such as up-to-26db sound insulation, B&K 4128C head-and-torso support and 50,000+ private model data were not independently checked.
  • A graph legend names M3-IEM and DUNMER PRO; the pictures read do not say what DUNMER PRO is or who measured either curve.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
