Our verdict

The A100 is a versatile power amp at $139.99 for listeners who want one box to drive either a stereo pair or a serious subwoofer: four mode combinations, TPA3255 power up to 315W mono, a 48V/5A adapter in the box and real bass-management knobs on the front. The patented heat-sink-as-chassis design and premium capacitors suggest it is built for sustained use. Check the variant if you already own a suitable supply.

Why 3.7/5: Lifted by a five-supply output table, a clear explanation of the four modes and the option of a 48V/5A adapter. Held back by power figures that disagree across the page (300W x 2, 120W per channel, 240W@4Ω) and a wired, RCA-only feature set that costs $189.99 once the adapter is added.

The Douk Audio A100 is a home audio power amplifier priced at $139.99. Designed for passive speakers and subwoofers, it stands out with mono/stereo and bass/full-frequency switches that create four working modes, letting one amplifier adapt between stereo listening, bridged-mono sub duty and full-range use.

Power comes from TI's TPA3255 chip, and with the included DC 48V/5A adapter the maximum output reaches 120W per channel in stereo mode and 315W in mono mode. The design adopts Post-Filter Feedback (PFFB) technology to reduce distortion, enhance linearity and frequency response, and improve sound purity and system efficiency, on a four-layer premium immersion gold PCB with Japanese Rubycon and ELNA capacitors, German WIMA capacitors and a high-precision potentiometer. Cooling is handled by a patented design that integrates the heat sink seamlessly with the body itself, expanding the groove area for more direct airflow contact during continuous work.

Connectivity covers mono/stereo speaker outputs plus a 3.5mm AUX output with amplification and independent volume control - handy for feeding another amplifier, an active speaker or a subwoofer in a 2.1 or home theater setup. Front-panel Super Bass and SW-FREQ knobs let you adjust bass gain and cutoff frequency directly, and two pluggable NE5532 op-amps can be swapped for upgraded dual op-amps. Bridged mono mode provides more power still, with the option of pairing two A100s to create a very powerful audio system.

How it compares

The A100's $139.99 is the Without Power Adapter option; with the 48V/5A adapter it costs $189.99. On that like-for-like basis it is $80.00 above the Douk Audio A5 with a 48V/5A supply ($109.99; $89.99 with a 32V/5A one) and $55.00 above the Douk Audio NS-14G PRO ($134.99, adapter in the box). All three pages list a TPA3255 chip, and the A100 and A5 tables print the same stereo figure on a 48V/5A supply: 120W+120W at 4Ω. What the A100 adds is the four working modes (mono or stereo, bass or full range), 315W mono at 4Ω on the 48V/5A adapter, an amplified AUX output with its own volume and a larger case (149 x 142 x 60mm against 95x92x50mm for the A5). The A5 page lists a 30-200Hz high-pass filter, where the A100 lists a 50-220Hz bass cutoff for its SUB mode.

The NS-14G PRO is the one to look at for a 2.1 system in a single box: its page lists Bluetooth, two TPA3255 chips with a separate subwoofer channel (270W at 4Ω on its 48V/5A adapter) and the adapter in the box, while the A100 is a wired power stage with RCA in only. Who it suits: the A100 fits a buyer who wants one amp that can run a stereo pair now and switch to bridged mono or sub duty later, or two units as a bridged pair. The NS-14G PRO fits wireless listening with a powered sub channel and no extra boxes. The A5 fits a small desk with bookshelf speakers on a budget.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
  • Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
  • Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
  • Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
  • Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
  • Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.

For this product, the page lists US, UK, EU, AU and Other under SHIPPING TO and shows Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.

What we liked

  • Four working modes - stereo or bridged mono, each in bass or full-frequency - let one amp drive speakers or a subwoofer with a switch
  • TI TPA3255 with Post-Filter Feedback plus a four-layer immersion gold PCB for lower distortion and improved linearity
  • Included 48V/5A adapter; up to 120W per channel in stereo mode and 315W in mono mode
  • Super Bass and SW-FREQ knobs adjust bass gain and cutoff frequency directly on the front panel
  • Independent 3.5mm AUX output with its own amplification and volume control for 2.1 or multi-channel builds; Rubycon, ELNA and WIMA capacitors inside

Worth noting

  • The included 48V/5A supply is what unlocks the full output ratings - some purchase options ship without a power adapter entirely
  • Bridged mono uses the whole amplifier for one channel, so a pair of mono-block A100s is needed for stereo mono-block setups
  • No Bluetooth or wireless input, and no headphone jack - it is a pure wired power amplifier stage

Questions before you buy

What are the four working modes?

Combinations of mono/stereo output and bass/full-frequency operation, selected with switches. Bridged mono provides more power, and two A100s can be paired for a bigger system.

How much power does it deliver?

With the included 48V/5A adapter, up to 120W per channel in stereo mode and 315W in bridged mono mode.

Can I connect a subwoofer?

Yes - the 3.5mm AUX output has amplification and independent volume control, so it can feed another amplifier, active speaker or subwoofer to build 2.1 or multi-channel systems.

Does it have Bluetooth?

No wireless connectivity is mentioned for the A100 - it is a wired power amplifier built around speaker outputs and an amplified AUX output.

What we couldn’t verify

  • Power figures conflict on the page: Parameters give RMS 300W x 2 (4Ω) stereo and 600W x 1 (2Ω) mono; the feature text gives 120W per channel stereo and 315W mono on the 48V/5A adapter; a closing line says up to 240W@4Ω stereo. The review uses 120W and 315W.
  • $139.99 is the Without Power Adapter option, which leaves out the 48V/5A adapter; With 48V/5A Power Adapter is $189.99, $50.00 more. The Included supply row now says so; the review's 120W and 315W figures assume that adapter.
  • 'Exclusive patented' heat dissipation and reaching the TPA3255's 'maximum potential' are maker claims; no patent number, temperature or continuous-output figure is on the page.
  • THD 0.002% and SNR 115dB or better come with no load, power or bandwidth stated; the response is written '20Hz-20kHz (0.5dB)' without a plus-or-minus sign.
  • Per the page's tips, the Super Bass and SW-FREQ knobs work only in SUB mode, and the amp 'won't work normally' if the mono/stereo and sub/flat switches are set wrongly; the review's Controls row does not say so.
  • Not on the page: the adapter's plug type by region, and how the mono figures were measured; the table shows the same 315W at 4Ω on both 48V/5A and 48V/10A.
  • The store's product description, which the page text read on Oct 25, 2026 lacks, adds that the 300W+300W stereo figure is measured at DC 51V, higher than the 48V supplies in the page's power table.
