Our verdict

The NS-14G PRO is for listeners assembling a 2.1 system: two TPA3255 chips split the work between stereo speakers and a subwoofer, with up to 300W available for each, and the included 48V/5A adapter means it runs out of the box. Bluetooth aptX/aptX-HD streaming and six control knobs round it out at $134.99. There is no headphone jack and no wired digital input, so plan your sources accordingly.

Best for
Anyone building a 2.1 setup with passive speakers and a subwoofer who wants Bluetooth and plenty of power in one amp.
Skip if
You need a headphone jack or wired digital inputs - this amp offers Bluetooth, RCA and AUX only.

Why 3.7/5: Lifted by two TPA3255 chips with a separate subwoofer channel, a printed output table and a 48V/5A adapter in the box. Held back by a 300W-per-channel headline against 120W+120W on that adapter, buyer reports of heat and no headphone or digital input.

Weighing it up? Douk Audio Class D Amplifiers Compared: Q10, A5 PRO, NS-13G MAX, NS-14G PRO and G7

The Douk Audio NS-14G PRO is a 2.1-channel power amplifier priced at $134.99. It is built to drive a pair of passive speakers plus a passive subwoofer from Bluetooth, RCA or AUX sources, making it a compact hub for a desk, studio or living-room system.

Inside are two TI TPA3255 amplifier chips: one handles the stereo channels and the other the subwoofer, for a maximum output of 300W per left/right channel and 300W for the sub. With the equipped 48V/5A power adapter, Douk Audio says it can easily drive most home passive speakers and subwoofers, with a total harmonic distortion of just 0.01% and an SNR of 108dB or better. Bluetooth comes courtesy of the QCC304X chip, supporting aptX and aptX-HD codecs with low power consumption and connectivity that resists dropouts.

Reliability features include dual power sockets - the secondary supply activates promptly if the main one is insufficient or fails, though it needs its own same-voltage supply sold separately - and vents on the sides and bottom to keep operating temperatures down. The front panel offers six adjustments: subwoofer frequency, volume and gain, plus main volume, bass and treble. Inside, Rubycon filter capacitors, Siemens coupling capacitors, a Taiwan fully enclosed potentiometer and full copper shielded inductors contribute to sound quality and longevity.

How it compares

At $134.99 with its 48V/5A adapter the NS-14G PRO costs $35.00 more than the Nobsound NS-14G ($99.99, with a 24V/4.5A supply in the box), the TPA3116-based 2.1 amp in the same line. The NS-14G page lists a TPA3116 chip, 50W x 2 plus 100W for the subwoofer and THD 0.07% at 1kHz with SNR 92dB or better, against two TPA3255 chips, 300W x 2 plus 300W and THD+N 0.01% with 108dB or better on the NS-14G PRO page; neither page gives the power level or load behind these figures. Both list Bluetooth, stereo RCA input and separate subwoofer frequency and level controls.

The Douk Audio A100 is listed at $139.99 without an adapter and $189.99 with a 48V/5A one, so with an adapter it costs $55.00 more than the NS-14G PRO. It has the same TPA3255 chip and prints the same 120W+120W stereo figure at 4Ω on a 48V/5A supply, but it is a wired, RCA-only power stage with mono/stereo and bass/flat switches, where the NS-14G PRO adds Bluetooth, two TPA3255 chips with a separate subwoofer channel (270W at 4Ω on 48V/5A) and the adapter in the box. The Ampapa D1 ($199.99, adapter in the box) reaches 2.1 differently, with a high-pass on the speaker output and a full-range PRE-OUT for an active subwoofer, and lists Bluetooth 5.2 and a VU display; it has no powered subwoofer channel of its own. Who it suits: the NS-14G PRO fits a desk or small room with passive speakers and a passive subwoofer that wants Bluetooth and the supply in one box. The NS-14G suits a smaller, cheaper version of that setup, the A100 suits wired setups that may later go bridged mono, and the D1 suits an active-subwoofer setup.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
  • Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
  • Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
  • Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
  • Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
  • Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.

For this product, the page lists US, UK, EU, AU and Other under SHIPPING TO and shows Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.

What we liked

  • Dual TPA3255 chips provide up to 300W each for left, right and the subwoofer channel
  • QCC304X Bluetooth with aptX/aptX-HD support for stable, low-power wireless streaming
  • A second power socket can take over when the main supply struggles, keeping playback uninterrupted
  • Ventilation on three sides (sides and bottom) helps hold stable operating temperatures
  • Six control knobs cover subwoofer frequency, volume and gain plus main volume, bass and treble; Rubycon and Siemens capacitors and shielded inductors inside

Worth noting

  • The backup power socket needs a second supply of the same voltage, which is not included
  • No headphone output and no wired digital inputs (USB, optical, coaxial) - connectivity stops at Bluetooth, RCA and AUX
  • Its full output is meant for passive speakers and a passive subwoofer, so active speakers cannot be driven from the speaker terminals

Questions before you buy

Does it ship with a power supply?

Yes, it includes a 48V/5A power adapter, which the maker says is enough to drive most home passive speakers and subwoofers.

What is the second power socket for?

It provides backup power if the main supply is insufficient or fails. It requires a power supply of the same voltage (not included); if you use only one supply, connect it to the main socket.

Which Bluetooth codecs are supported?

The QCC304X chip supports advanced codecs including aptX and aptX-HD, with low power consumption and stable connectivity.

What can I connect to it?

Bluetooth devices, and line-level sources via stereo RCA or AUX; outputs cover banana speaker jacks, an AUX output and a subwoofer output.

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page headlines 300W per channel and 300W for the subwoofer, but its table lists 120W+120W with a 270W subwoofer at 4Ω on the 48V/5A adapter in the box; the 250W+250W row needs 48V/10A, which the page does not offer. No distortion level is given for the headline.
  • The page calls the second power socket a backup source in its features and 'extra power when needed' in its tips; it does not say whether two supplies add together or one takes over, or whether the 48V/10A rows assume two 48V/5A supplies.
  • The page says three-sided ventilation holds stable temperatures and prevents overheating; two customer reviews on the page say the amp runs very hot, and no temperature figure is given.
  • THD+N 0.01% at 1kHz and SNR 108dB or better have no stated power or load; the response is given as 20Hz-20kHz with no tolerance.
  • The adapter's plug type by region and the Bluetooth range are not stated; a second supply for the spare socket is not in the box.
  • The review says one TPA3255 drives the stereo pair and the other the subwoofer; the page lists two chips and a 2.1 layout but does not say which chip drives which channel.
