Douk Audio 3.5mm Male to Male AUX Cable Review
A shielded 3.5mm-to-3.5mm stereo AUX cable using 99.99% copper wire, gold-plated connectors and Oyaide silver-bearing soldering, available in lengths from 0.75m to 5m for car or home use.

Our verdict
At $11.00 the Douk Audio 3.5mm AUX cable is an easy upgrade over a generic patch cord: 99.99% copper wire, gold-plated connectors with rhodium soldering points, copper and aluminum foil shielding with a ferrite ring, and Oyaide silver-bearing solder, rated to a 10,000+ bend life. Lengths from 0.75m to 5m cover headphone-out to car-stereo runs and desk setups alike. Just note it is a stereo audio cable only, with no mic channel.
- Best for
- Replacing a flimsy aux cord in a car, desk or hi-fi setup with a shielded, silver-soldered 3.5mm stereo cable in the right length
- Skip if
- You need a microphone or inline volume-control channel, or your source device has no 3.5mm output without an adapter
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by an $11.00 starting price, seven lengths, listed materials and a bend rating. Held back by US options shown as sold out, claims with no measurements and no word on whether the plugs carry a microphone contact.
The Douk Audio HiFi 3.5mm Male to Male Stereo AUX Cable is a stereo audio cable priced at $11.00. It connects any two devices with a 3.5mm aux port — laptops, smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, car stereos, speakers and hi-fi gear — making it a general-purpose cable for the car, desk or living room.
Materials are taken seriously for the price. The wire is multicore high-purity 99.99% copper, the connectors are gold-plated 3.5mm jacks with rhodium soldering points, and the solder itself is Oyaide tin with 4.7% silver. Shielding is layered: an independent high-density copper braid plus 99.99% aluminum foil, with a ferrite magnetic ring for anti-interference filtering, and strong tensile cotton in the construction.
The result, per the maker, is high-fidelity stereo transmission without current noise, with all-around shielding and multi-protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The gold-plated copper connector casings resist corrosion, and the flexible jacket is rated to a 10,000+ bend lifespan while staying tangle-free — useful for cables that live in a car door pocket or get coiled daily.
The cable comes in a range of lengths — 0.75m, 1.0m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 3.0m, 3.5m and 5.0m — so measure the run between your devices first. Note that it carries stereo audio only: there is no microphone or inline remote function, and devices without a 3.5mm jack need their own adapter.

How it compares
The AUX cable starts at $11.00 for 0.75m, less than any other product in this group, and is sold in seven lengths up to 5m ($30.00). The Douk Audio 3.5mm to RCA HiFi Stereo Cable review ($26.99, $15.99 more) has a 3.5mm plug at one end and RCA plugs at the other, in one 1m length, with 6N oxygen-free copper, 24K gold plating and a tinned copper braid, rated at 15,000+ bends against 10,000+ here. This cable lists 99.99% copper, a copper braid with aluminum foil and a ferrite ring, and silver-bearing solder.
The Douk Audio HiFi Dual RCA to RCA Stereo Cable review ($29.99, $18.99 more) joins two RCA devices at 1m. Choose the AUX cable for 3.5mm-to-3.5mm links, from a phone or laptop to a car stereo or powered speakers, but check the stock option first: the page's US options are shown as sold out at every length, while the UK, EU, AU and Other options are available at the same prices.
Shipping, returns and warranty
- Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
- Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
- Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
- Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
- Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
- Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.
For this product, the page offers Size (0.75m to 5.0m) and 'Shipping to' (US, UK, EU, AU, Other) choices, shows 'Sold out' where the buy buttons would be for its opening US option, and has Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.
What we liked
- Works with anything that has a 3.5mm aux port — laptops, phones, tablets, MP3 players, car stereos, speakers and hi-fi systems
- High-purity 99.99% copper wire with gold-plated connectors and rhodium soldering points for maximum conductivity
- Independent copper braided and aluminum foil shielding with a ferrite magnetic ring guards against EMI and RFI
- Oxygen-free tinned copper construction with multi-protection shielding aims at high-fidelity sound without current noise
- A 10,000+ bend lifespan and flexible tangle-free jacket make it practical for car use and tight spaces
Worth noting
- It is an audio-only cable — there is no microphone or inline remote channel on it
- Devices without a 3.5mm output, such as many newer phones, need their own adapter
- Seven lengths from 0.75m to 5m mean it is worth measuring your run before ordering

What we couldn’t verify
- $11.00 is the 0.75m option, and the page opens on it for the US destination and shows 'Sold out'. In the store's option data every US option is unavailable at all seven lengths, while UK, EU, AU and Other options are available at the same prices.
- Other lengths cost $13.00 (1m), $15.00 (1.5m), $17.00 (2m), $21.00 (3m), $22.00 (3.5m) and $30.00 (5m), the same for every destination.
- The Parameters call the conductor 'multicore high purity 99.99% copper' while the feature text says 'oxygen-free tinned copper'; the page does not reconcile the two and gives no gauge, resistance or capacitance figure.
- 'High fidelity sound quality', 'without current noise' and 'maximum conductivity' are page claims; no shielding-effectiveness figure is given, and the 10,000+ bend lifespan has no test method.
- The review says the cable has no microphone channel; the page says it carries stereo audio but does not state whether the plugs have three or four contacts.
