Our verdict
Consider it if you want a full-suspension mid-drive bike with a removable battery and the rack, fenders and kickstand listed with it. Look elsewhere if you need a larger second battery or a stated charger and motor torque, since the page gives a 48V 5Ah optional pack and neither detail. The main caveat is that the page contradicts itself on frame size and its range figures are the store's own.
- Best for
- Riders who want a full-suspension 1000W mid-drive bike with a rack, fenders and a removable battery.
- Skip if
- You need a stated charger, motor torque or a second battery larger than the optional 48V 5Ah pack.
Why 3.7/5: A detailed specification table, the store's published after-sale terms and outside write-ups of the model line that were not read in detail lift it, while the company's BBB F grade with two unanswered complaints and a page that shows no customer reviews hold it back.
With 140mm of front travel and 50mm at the rear, the Specter S 4.0, which the store also markets as the Hunter X9, is listed at $3,799 as a mid-drive bike with a BAFANG G510 motor rated 48V / 1,000W, a 48V 17.5Ah removable battery and 26 x 4.0-inch Kenda tires. The page gives a net weight of 83.7 lbs and its header lists Default Class 2. The specification table adds a manufacturer-defined display limit of up to 28 mph / approximately 45 km/h.

Options and pricing
The page lists two colors, Moon Black and Army Green, and two frame sizes, 16'' and 18'', for four variants at one price of $3,799, all in stock when read; it shows no crossed-out price. The page lists an aluminum rear rack, full aluminum fenders and an adjustable kickstand with the bike. The 48V 5Ah secondary battery is not included; the page lists a 48V5AH Secondary Ebike Battery with Type-C Port at $219.00 and a 27.5 x 3 inch wheel set at $399.00.
How it compares
The Eunorau Specter-ST 2.0 Step-Through Mid-Drive E-Bike is $2,999 with a 1000W mid-drive, the same 48V17.5Ah main battery and up to 80 Miles on dual batteries, where this bike lists up to 40 miles and up to 52 mi combined. The Eunorau FAT-HS (Hunter X8) Mid-Drive Fat-Tire E-Bike is $3,449 with a 1000W mid drive, a 48V15Ah battery and Class 3, against this page's Default Class 2.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping: the shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from warehouses in Las Vegas, with 1 to 3 business days of processing and an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit; Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 shipping option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days), and carriers can add a charge for remote areas. Returns: an order can be cancelled for a full refund before it ships or is produced, but not after it ships; the page asks buyers not to refuse a delivered e-bike and to contact the store instead. A return must be applied for within 7 calendar days of receipt, the product must be new and re-sellable (not assembled, ridden, used or damaged) and complete with its manuals, accessories and original packaging, and the buyer ships it back within 7 days at their own cost to Eunorau's warehouses in the US, Australia, Europe or the UK. The store inspects it within 5 days and refunds in full when the fault is Eunorau's (wrong, damaged or defective item) or minus the shipping cost when the reason is the customer's. The terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee, which does not match the return page's wording. Warranty: the 24-Month+ Limited Warranty on bikes bought in the US or Canada from 1 August 2023 covers manufacturing defects only: the frame for 10 years and the battery, motor and electrical components for 24 months, without labor or normal wear (brake pads, rotors, spokes, grips, shifters, cables, tires, chains, chainrings, cassettes). It is for the original purchaser, needs product registration right after purchase and an inspection by an authorized specialist or dealer after the first year, is cut by 50% for commercial use, does not cover free gifts or pre-installed racks and fenders, and excludes shipping damage (report it at once with photos or video). Disputes under the warranty go to binding individual arbitration (AAA rules, Nevada law) unless the buyer emails an opt-out within 30 days of purchase.
Before you buy
The page shows no customer reviews. Reputation: Eunorau E-Mobility USA Corp has an F grade on the Better Business Bureau, is not BBB accredited and has 2 complaints on file, both marked unanswered: a December 2025 request for proof that a bike sold as new was new, and a May 2025 report of a battery cover that would not latch, which the buyer attributes to a frame defect. A web search on 21 October 2026 found no Trustpilot page for Eunorau. The store says it has specialised in e-bikes since 2009 and designs its bikes in the US and manufactures them in Shanghai, while the BBB lists a business start date of 12 December 2019; the eunorau-ebike.com domain was registered on 27 July 2016. The page shows a live 'people are viewing this right now' counter, which we could not verify. The store's FAQ defines Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes by assist or throttle and a 20 or 28 mph limit and says laws vary by state and country, so check local rules; many bike pages list a speed limit as 'Unlockable'.
What we liked
- Removable, lockable downtube battery with LG cells (3500mAh, 13S5P), a 30A BMS and a DC2.1 charge port listed
- Suspension figures are stated: a 140mm fork with 36mm stanchions and a 50mm-travel rear shock
- HD-E620 four-piston hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear
- SRAM NX 1 x 11 drivetrain with a motor cut-off shift sensor
- An aluminum rear rack, full fenders and a kickstand are listed as part of the bike
- Cockpit sizes are given: 700mm handlebar, 90mm stem, 170mm crank and a 31.6 x 280mm seatpost
Worth noting
- The page gives no motor torque figure, and no charger or charging time
- The optional second battery is 48V 5Ah and the combined range figure is up to 52 mi, where the Specter-ST 2.0 and FAT-HS pages give up to 80 Miles on dual batteries
- The frame row says 'Frame size: 17 inches' although the options are 16'' and 18''
- Only the 83.7 lbs net weight of the bike is given, with no weight for either battery
Questions before you buy
Is the main battery removable and what is in it?
Yes, per the page: the 48V 17.5Ah battery uses a lockable, removable downtube design with LG cells (LG 3500mAh, 13S5P), a 30A BMS and a DC2.1 charge port. The page gives the included battery's range as up to 40 miles.
Is the secondary battery included?
No. The page says the 48V 5Ah secondary battery is an optional configuration, included only when that option is specifically offered and selected. It lists LG 5000mAh 21700 cells, a Type-C output and an extended range of up to 52 mi combined.
How much suspension travel does it have?
The EXPLORER front fork has 140mm of travel with 36mm stanchions, and the AO-38RC rear shock has 50mm of travel and a 190mm eye-to-eye length.
How is a Eunorau e-bike shipped and how long does it take?
The shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from Las Vegas warehouses after 1 to 3 business days of processing, with an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit. Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days).
What is the return window?
The return page gives 7 calendar days from receipt to apply. The item must be new, unused and complete in its original packaging, and the buyer pays the return shipping to Eunorau's warehouse; the refund is full only when the fault is Eunorau's. Orders can be cancelled for free before they ship.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty page lists 10 years on the frame and 24 months on the battery, motor and electrical components for bikes bought in the US or Canada after 1 August 2023. It covers manufacturing defects only, needs registration, and excludes wear items, labor and shipping damage.
Does Eunorau offer financing?
Every product page says 'Pay in interest-free installments' under Flexible Payment but names no provider, terms or limits, and we found no payment page, so ask the store before relying on it.

What we couldn’t verify
- The frame row says 'Frame size: 17 inches' but the options are 16'' and 18''; the page text also still holds a drafting note about publishing a rider-height range only after the geometry chart is confirmed.
- The page's 52 mi combined range carries an asterisk it never explains, and the Default Class 2 and 28 mph display-limit wording has no source or test.
- The geometry table gives a recommended rider height of 160-190cm for the 16 size only, with a dash for the 18.
- The return page says the buyer pays return shipping, while the terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee.
