Our verdict

A fit for a buyer who wants a DAC and amp with two CS43198 chips, a 0.96-inch screen and a D.Mode that the pictures put at 560mW+560mW per channel, at $109.99. Look elsewhere if you need that power figure tied to a load, since none is printed, or need a stated weight, size or in-the-box list: the pictures available give none. The figures are the store's own, and no independent test was checked for this review.

Why 3.3/5: Four things hold the rating down: the page has no specification list as text, its claims sit mostly in pictures rather than text, the store's own terms contradict each other, and no independent test was checked for this review (every figure is the store's own).

A DAC and headphone amplifier with two CS43198 chips, the FiiO KA15 is listed by HiFiGO at $109.99 in Black or Blue. The page has no text description, only 21 pictures, and 3 of those were missing. The pictures that could be read name a USB bridge chip, a 0.96-inch IPS screen and 768kHz/32bit and DSD256 support, and a D.Mode that raises the balanced output to 560mW+560mW per channel without printing a load.

Options and pricing

Two options are listed at $109.99 each, KA15-Black and KA15-Blue, and both were orderable when the page was read. The pictures show two units, a black one and a light blue one, and name the colors midnight black and day blue. No in-the-box picture is among the 18 pictures available, so those pictures do not say what comes with the unit; a picture does mention lanyard holes.

How it compares

At $109.99 the KA15 costs more than the Moondrop FreeDSP Mini 2-Gen CS43198 USB-C DAC & AMP at $39.99, whose title names one CS43198, and less than the iBasso DC07PRO CS43131 USB Portable DAC&AMP at $199 and the IBasso Nunchaku Dual CS43198 USB DAC & Tube AMP at $299. The Nunchaku's title also says Dual CS43198 but adds a tube amp. The KA15 suits a buyer who wants two CS43198 chips at a price below the Nunchaku's; the Moondrop suits one with a tighter budget.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

Questions before you buy

What power does D.Mode list and at what load?

A picture says that with D.Mode on, the balanced output reaches 560mW+560mW per channel, and a bar chart sets it beside 265mW+265mW for the KA5. No load impedance or distortion figure is printed, so the figure cannot be tied to a load.

Which chips does the KA15 use?

The pictures show two chips marked CIRRUS CS43198, text about dual operational amplifiers SGM8262, and a chip photo marked SPACE TOUCH SPV5048PRO; picture text also mentions a USB bridge.

What formats, screen and controls does it list?

A picture gives 768kHz/32bit and DSD256. The pictures list a 0.96-inch IPS true color LCD, side keys marked ON/OFF with D.MODE, +, - and M, and 60-level quick plus 120-level fine volume adjustment.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The 560mW+560mW figure has no load or distortion figure printed. A picture's text speaks of a 207 increase over the KA5, while a bar chart shows 207% beside 265mW+265mW and 560mW+560mW, without saying what 207 measures.
  • Standby claims against the KA5 (power consumption reduced by approximately 500 percent when paused and 1500 percent in deep sleep) and the Hi-Res gold certification wording come with no test conditions or certificate read.
  • 3 of the 21 pictures are missing and 10 more were not read, so a specification table, weight or the in-the-box list may sit there. The print on the side of the unit could not be read.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
  • 3 of the 21 description pictures on HiFiGO's page did not load when we checked on October 29, 2026 (their image host answered "not found"), so anything they showed is not covered here.
