Our verdict

A fit for buyers who want an Android-based desktop streamer with a DAC, XLR and RCA outputs and an M.2 SSD cage in one unit at $1,099.99. Look elsewhere if you need the Bluetooth chip, Roon Ready status or a Black unit settled before buying, because the pictures disagree or name items the options do not. The main caveat is that nearly every figure sits in pictures and no independent test was checked for this review.

Best for
Buyers who want a streamer, a DAC and a balanced pre-amp output with a 7.84-inch screen in one desktop unit.

Why 3.4/5: Held back by a page whose own words are short, with most claims in pictures; by the store's own terms that contradict each other; and by no independent test checked for this review, since every figure is the store's own.

FiiO's S15 is a desktop streamer, decoder and preamp that HiFiGO lists at $1,099.99 in a Silver-US option. The page's own text is a single firmware note; the rest comes from pictures, which name AK4191+AK4499EX as the DAC, an XMOS XU316 USB chip, Android 12 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and a 7.84-inch screen. The pictures also list RCA and XLR outputs, HDMI with ARC, an M.2 SSD cage and a Bluetooth remote.

Options and pricing

One option is listed: S15 Silver-US at $1,099.99, orderable when the page was read. The pictures name Black and Silver as colors, but no Black option appears among the options. A packing-list picture names the S15, an M.2 HDD cage with a data cable supporting 3.0, a spare fuse, a cage screwdriver, USB-A and USB-C dust plugs, an AC power cord, a Bluetooth remote, a 3.5mm audio cable, a quick start guide, a cage manual and a remote control diagram. A one-line note on the page points to a firmware update.

How it compares

The Gustard S26 High-Fidelity Music Server costs $1,599.99 against $1,099.99 here and is named a music server. The TOPPING D90 III Discrete Fully Balanced HiFi DAC is $999 and has DAC, not streamer, in its name, so it suits someone who wants only a DAC. The S15 suits buyers who want playback, a screen and a DAC in one unit, according to its pictures.

Shipping, returns and warranty

HiFiGO sells from hifigo.com and says every order leaves its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after it is placed, and says its delivery times are estimates, not promises. Its shipping policy gives the United States 1-2 weeks (about 10 days on average) by Priority and 6-10 days by Premium, both with duties and taxes prepaid by the store; Canada 2-3 weeks; the United Kingdom 1-2 weeks; and Australia 10-15 days. Express couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) take 3-7 days, but then the buyer pays any duties and taxes. No shipping page names New Zealand, PO boxes are not accepted, and the free-shipping thresholds differ between the store's own pages, so check the cart. One of its two shipping pages adds that a lost parcel on an order above $50 gets only a 50% refund. A US buyer reported a $40 tariff charge in August 2025, after which HiFiGO said it had added a customs notice at checkout.

Read the return terms before you order. The homepage advertises 7-day returns. Both of HiFiGO's policy pages offer a 7-day dead-on-arrival cover (a replacement or a full refund, with the return postage refunded) and also describe 30-day returns, but a request made 7 to 30 days after delivery loses 30% of the MSRP as a restocking fee (10% more if the packaging is incomplete), plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same pages says there is no refund or exchange once 7 days have passed. One version recommends reselling an opened product locally. Custom IEMs and custom cables cannot be returned, no return address is published, and buyers describe sending items back to China.

HiFiGO's warranty runs one year from the order date for parts and labor; its policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles at one year and gives cables and adapters three months. HiFiGO decides between repair and replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and faulty items go back for service, not for a refund. Claims go to [email protected], the only contact the store lists: its pages name no company, street address or phone, and its terms are governed by the laws of China.

FiiO's own notice "A letter to FiiO fans" (undated) lists HiFiGo among sellers it has not authorized and recommends buying FiiO products from local agents. FiiO says it still services genuine products bought from such sellers if the buyer emails [email protected], but the buyer pays the freight and duties if a unit must go back to China.

On Trustpilot, HiFiGO had 4.6 out of 5 from 378 reviews when we checked on 2026-10-28 (91% five-star, 5% one-star), and it had replied to about 75% of negative reviews; Trustpilot notes the store has not invited customers to review recently. The one-star reviews mostly concern the short return window and the deductions on returns, items listed in stock that turned out back-ordered, slow email support and a tariff charge on a US delivery in 2025. HiFiGO says its products are genuine and come in the brands' retail packaging; it does not claim to be an authorized dealer.

What we liked

  • Pictures name AK4191+AK4499EX as the DAC and XMOS XU316 as the USB chip
  • Balanced XLR and RCA outputs are pictured, with pre-amp levels of RCA 4.5Vrms+4.5Vrms and XLR 8.9Vrms+8.9Vrms (1kHz@10KΩ)
  • Coaxial, AES, optical, HDMI and USB digital connections are pictured, plus IIS-OUT and TRIGGER OUT on the rear labels
  • Runs Android 12 with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, with an M.2 SSD cage and a microSD slot, per the pictures
  • Bluetooth reception 5.1 lists SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC; transmission also lists LHDC

Worth noting

  • Pictures name the Bluetooth chip two ways: QCC5181 in one, QCC5125 in two others
  • Only Silver-US is listed as an option, though the pictures name Black as a color too
  • One picture says Roon Ready while its footnote says certification is in progress
  • In EQ mode the USB DAC is listed only up to PCM 192k, against 768kHz/32bit otherwise
  • A pictured footnote says the pictures are for reference only and the actual product may vary; no independent test was checked here

Questions before you buy

Which DAC and USB chips does the S15 use?

The pictures name AK4191+AK4499EX as the DAC and XMOS XU316 as the USB chip. The Bluetooth chip is named QCC5181 in one picture and QCC5125 in two others, so that detail is not settled.

Which sample rates do the pictures list?

USB DAC: 768kHz/32bit and DSD512 (Native), with EQ mode up to PCM 192k; native decoding 384kHz/32bit and DSD256 (Native). Inputs: coaxial 192kHz/24bit, AES 192kHz/24bit, optical 96kHz/24bit, HDMI 192kHz/24bit. Digital outputs: USB 768kHz/32bit with DSD512 (DoP/D2P/Native), coaxial and AES 384kHz/24bit with DSD128 (D2P/DoP), optical and HDMI 192kHz/24bit.

What can it play from?

The pictures claim Roon Ready, AirPlay, DLNA and Bluetooth reception, LAN playback (UPNP/SBM/WebDAV), and playback from microSD cards, USB drives and portable hard disks. A one-line note on the page points to a firmware update.

Where does HiFiGO ship from, and how long does it take?

From its warehouse in China, usually 1-3 business days after the order. The shipping policy gives 1-2 weeks to the US by Priority (6-10 days by Premium), both with duties and taxes prepaid, 2-3 weeks to Canada, 1-2 weeks to the UK and 10-15 days to Australia. Express couriers take 3-7 days, but the buyer pays any duties.

Can I send it back if I change my mind?

HiFiGO gives 7 days to report an item that arrives dead, damaged or wrong. Its policy also describes 30-day returns, but requests 7 to 30 days after delivery lose 30% of the MSRP plus shipping both ways and duties, and the FAQ on the same page says no refund or exchange after 7 days. Ask [email protected] before you open the box.

What warranty does HiFiGO give?

One year from the order date for parts and labor, for faults in build or materials (the policy names desktop DACs and amps, IEMs and dongles; cables and adapters get three months). HiFiGO chooses repair or replacement, the buyer pays the shipping, and a faulty item is serviced rather than refunded. Claims go to [email protected].

What we couldn’t verify

  • The pictures name the Bluetooth chip as QCC5181 in one and as a Qualcomm QCC5125 (Bluetooth 5.1) in two others. One picture says Roon Ready while its footnote says Roon Ready certification is in progress.
  • A picture calls the included M.2 cage USB3.2, but the rear port reads USB3.0 and the packing list says a data cable supporting 3.0. A warranty card is pictured in the packing list; its text was too blurry to read, so no term from it is used here.
  • A footnote says the pictures are for reference only and the actual product may vary; the store title's High-Res wording and the 35W linear supply, femtosecond oscillator and OPA1612 op-amp statements are claims, not checked for this review.
  • HiFiGO's policy pages contradict each other: 30-day returns with a 30% restocking fee in one place, no refund or exchange after 7 days in the FAQ.
  • HiFiGO's pages name no company, street address or phone number; the only contact given is [email protected].
  • FiiO's undated seller notice lists HiFiGo as an unauthorized seller; FiiO says it still services genuine units, with freight and duties paid by the buyer.
