DYU SP1 20-Inch Power Bank Folding E-Bike Review
A 20-inch aluminum-frame folding e-bike with a 250W motor and a removable 24V 5Ah battery that the page says supports mobile device charging, from €1,099. The page states no range and gives no weight with the battery fitted.

Our verdict
Suited to riders who value a folding e-bike whose removable battery, the page says, can charge mobile devices, and who will confirm range and total weight with the seller. Look elsewhere if you need a stated range, a weight with the battery fitted or any measured performance. The main caveat is that the 14 kg excludes fenders and battery, and the page's airline-travel claim meets a 120 Wh battery above the 100 Wh carry-on threshold per IMBOLDN.
- Best for
- Riders who want a folding e-bike with a removable power-bank battery and will confirm range and weight first.
- Skip if
- You need a stated range, a total weight with the battery or any measured performance.
Why 3.4/5: Lifted by a spec list with battery, brake, assist and folded-size details and by an outside video and write-up that cover this model; held back by the 14 kg that leaves out the battery, a page with no range, coverage without measurements, and the store terms and reputation notes below.
Named for its power-bank battery, the SP1 is a 20-inch aluminum alloy folding e-bike listed from €1,099, with a 250W motor and a removable LG 24V 5Ah battery that the page says supports mobile device charging. The page's 14 kg weight excludes the fenders and the battery, and it states no range. A YouTube video from GSMaholic and a launch write-up from IMBOLDN cover the model, but neither measures anything.

Shipping, returns and warranty
Where it sells: the shipping page names these EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden (Croatia appears twice); Germany is not on the list, and a cart test on 22 October 2026 returned no shipping rate for a German, UK, US, Swiss, Norwegian or Vietnamese address, while French, Spanish and Italian addresses got free delivery in an estimated 3 to 5 business days. Prices are in euros. Shipping: free over EUR 100, an estimated 3 to 5 business days, shipped within 2 working days from a Poland or German warehouse by FedEx, UPS or DPD (the FAQ page says 2 to 7 business days, and the Terms of Service say delivery 'may take up to 50 days'). Returns: the return page gives 30 days for a bike in its original packaging with under 10 km on the display; for a change of mind the buyer pays the return and EUR 200 per e-bike (EUR 100 per battery) is deducted, a defective bike is exchanged or refunded within 30 days, and cancelling before shipment costs 5%. The Terms of Service describe a 7-day dead-on-arrival rule, 10 days for faulty goods and 30 days for unopened items. Warranty: the warranty page gives one year from delivery for manufacturing defects: a replacement frame only (no labor), a battery repaired or replaced in year one and then a prorated credit, tires, brake pads and chains excluded, and claims by email to [email protected] with photos or video; product pages show a '12-24 Months Warranty' banner.
Before you buy
The page shows 22 customer reviews with 77% of them five-star in the store's own widget, which we could not verify. Reputation: Trustpilot lists dyucycle.com with a TrustScore of 3.7 from 209 reviews (60% five-star, 26% one-star), a profile claimed in June 2024 with a Dover, Delaware address, and says the company replies to negative reviews. Recent one-star reviews describe bikes cutting out while riding, requests for EUR 100 to 200 return fees, unanswered emails and, from a Dutch reviewer, a model that was not road legal in the Netherlands; we have not verified any of them. The registry shows dyucycle.com registered on 8 April 2021. The About page says DYU was founded in 2016 and sells in over 60 countries, which we could not confirm; the Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, while the contact page gives a Rotterdam office address. The page shows a crossed-out price of €1,499 next to its '60-Day Lowest Price Guarantee' banner; that is the store's own comparison figure. (a dual-battery option shows a higher crossed-out price)
What we liked
- A removable LG 24V 5Ah battery that the page says supports mobile device charging, with a charging time of approx. 3-4 hours listed
- The spec list names its parts: a DC brushless motor, TR 160mm disc brakes, OSRAM LED front and rear lights and an LG battery
- Folded size is listed as 700 x 450 x 620 mm, and the page describes an aluminum alloy frame with 3D forging
- A single or dual battery choice is offered, at €1,099 and €1,299
- In GSMaholic's video, which quantifies nothing and carries a DYU tracking link, the host calls the assist natural and the brakes very reliable
Worth noting
- The page states no range, and no weight is given for the bike with its battery; the 14 kg figure excludes fenders and battery
- The page says the bike is fully compliant for airline travel, while IMBOLDN's launch write-up notes that the 120 Wh battery is above the 100 Wh airline carry-on threshold
- Neither outside piece measured anything: GSMaholic's narration repeats specs and IMBOLDN's is a launch write-up, not a test
- The page lists no top speed, only an assist speed range of 0-10 km/h proportional and 10-24 km/h decreasing
Questions before you buy
What does the 14 kg figure cover?
The spec list says 14 kg (30.9 lbs) excluding fenders and battery, while the header and bullet list call it '14 kg Net Weight'. The page gives no weight for the bike with its battery, and IMBOLDN's launch write-up makes the same point.
What battery does the SP1 use, and how is it charged?
The spec list gives an LG lithium-ion battery rated 24V and 5Ah, a charging time of approx. 3-4 hours and a charger rated DC 25.2V, 1.5A. The page says the removable battery supports mobile device charging. IMBOLDN puts the battery at 120 Wh, above the 100 Wh airline carry-on threshold.
How far does the SP1 go on one charge?
The page states no range. GSMaholic's narration repeats 25-30 km 'according to the manufacturer' without measuring it, and IMBOLDN notes that no range is published.
Does DYU ship to my country?
The shipping page names 24 EU countries and prices are in euros. A cart test on 22 October 2026 gave free delivery in an estimated 3 to 5 business days for French, Spanish and Italian addresses and no shipping rate for German, UK, US, Swiss, Norwegian or Vietnamese addresses. Ask [email protected] before ordering from anywhere else.
What is the return window and what does it cost?
The return page gives 30 days for a bike in its original packaging with under 10 km on the display; for a change of mind you pay the return and EUR 200 per e-bike is deducted (EUR 100 per battery). The Terms of Service describe 7, 10 and 30-day rules, so get the terms that apply to your order in writing.
What warranty does a DYU bike carry?
The warranty page gives one year from delivery for manufacturing defects: a replacement frame only, a battery repaired or replaced in year one and then a prorated credit, and claims by email with photos or video. Product pages show a '12-24 Months Warranty' banner that the page does not explain.

What we couldn’t verify
- The header and bullet list say '14 kg Net Weight' while the spec list says 14 kg (30.9 lbs) excluding fenders and battery; no weight is given for the bike with its battery, and the page states no range.
- The page says the bike is 'fully compliant for subways, trains, and airline travel'; IMBOLDN notes the 120 Wh battery is above the 100 Wh airline carry-on threshold. GSMaholic's narration quotes 25-30 km 'according to the manufacturer', a figure this page does not give.
- The page lists no top speed (only an assist speed range) and names no sensor; GSMaholic's video says the European version has a torque sensor, and its description carries a DYU tracking link and a discount code.
- The store's pages disagree on returns: 30 days on the return page, and 7, 10 and 30-day rules in the Terms of Service; the return page deducts EUR 200 per e-bike for a change of mind.
- Product pages show a '12-24 Months Warranty' banner while the warranty page gives one year for manufacturing defects.
