Our verdict

Suits riders who want a switchable dual-motor fat-tire bike at a lower starting price than the mid-drive models listed here, and who accept the store's own figures. Look elsewhere if you need a range that does not depend on a second battery, or an outside test of this version. The main caveat is that the performance numbers come from the store, and the only outside write-up is a sponsored one of a much older model.

Best for
Riders who want a switchable front, rear or dual motor drive on a 26 x 4.0 fat-tire frame.
Skip if
You need a single-battery range figure or an independent test of the current 2.0 model.

Why 3.7/5: Lifted by a full specification table, the store's published after-sale terms and a sponsored review of a much older version; held back by the lack of any independent test of this version and by a BBB F grade with two unanswered complaints.

The FAT-AWD 2.0 is a dual-hub-motor model in Eunorau's fat-tire line, listed from $1,699 with a 500W motor at the front and one at the rear, a 48V 15Ah battery and 26 x 4.0 tires. The page lists Class 2 speed limited and unlockable and a 20MPH maximum speed. Electric Bike Review's 2019 write-up of a much older FAT-AWD, which its own page says Eunorau sponsored, listed a 48V 10Ah battery and an estimated range of 7-30 miles, and its verdict was 'one of the more unique eBikes on the market today'.

Options and pricing

The page offers two colors, Raven and Maple, and names two frame styles, Step Over and Step Thru. Its variant list shows only Step Over / Raven at $1,699 and Step Over / Maple at $1,799, and the page shows a crossed-out price of $1,799. The price covers one 48V 15Ah battery and the standard 2A smart charger; a second battery is optional and the page lists a Universal 48V15Ah Secondary Battery at $499.00. The specification table lists a tool as included.

How it compares

The Eunorau FAT-HD 2.0 (Hunter X7) Fat-Tire E-Bike starts at $2,399 and lists a 1,000W mid-drive motor with the same 48V15Ah battery. The Eunorau Defender S 2.0 (Hunter X6) Dual-Motor Fat-Tire E-Bike is $2,799 with dual 750W hub motors, a 48V 17Ah battery and a range of up to 40 mi. This bike is listed from $1,699, with 500W motors at both wheels.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping: the shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from warehouses in Las Vegas, with 1 to 3 business days of processing and an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit; Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 shipping option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days), and carriers can add a charge for remote areas. Returns: an order can be cancelled for a full refund before it ships or is produced, but not after it ships; the page asks buyers not to refuse a delivered e-bike and to contact the store instead. A return must be applied for within 7 calendar days of receipt, the product must be new and re-sellable (not assembled, ridden, used or damaged) and complete with its manuals, accessories and original packaging, and the buyer ships it back within 7 days at their own cost to Eunorau's warehouses in the US, Australia, Europe or the UK. The store inspects it within 5 days and refunds in full when the fault is Eunorau's (wrong, damaged or defective item) or minus the shipping cost when the reason is the customer's. The terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee, which does not match the return page's wording. Warranty: the 24-Month+ Limited Warranty on bikes bought in the US or Canada from 1 August 2023 covers manufacturing defects only: the frame for 10 years and the battery, motor and electrical components for 24 months, without labor or normal wear (brake pads, rotors, spokes, grips, shifters, cables, tires, chains, chainrings, cassettes). It is for the original purchaser, needs product registration right after purchase and an inspection by an authorized specialist or dealer after the first year, is cut by 50% for commercial use, does not cover free gifts or pre-installed racks and fenders, and excludes shipping damage (report it at once with photos or video). Disputes under the warranty go to binding individual arbitration (AAA rules, Nevada law) unless the buyer emails an opt-out within 30 days of purchase.

Before you buy

The page shows 263 customer reviews with 83% of them five-star in the store's own widget, which we could not verify; several product pages show the same review counts or lists, so the figure may not belong to this item alone. Reputation: Eunorau E-Mobility USA Corp has an F grade on the Better Business Bureau, is not BBB accredited and has 2 complaints on file, both marked unanswered: a December 2025 request for proof that a bike sold as new was new, and a May 2025 report of a battery cover that would not latch, which the buyer attributes to a frame defect. A web search on 21 October 2026 found no Trustpilot page for Eunorau. The store says it has specialised in e-bikes since 2009 and designs its bikes in the US and manufactures them in Shanghai, while the BBB lists a business start date of 12 December 2019; the eunorau-ebike.com domain was registered on 27 July 2016. The page marks a 'Free Gift Included' item in its accessories list and does not say whether the offer ends. The store's FAQ defines Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes by assist or throttle and a 20 or 28 mph limit and says laws vary by state and country, so check local rules; many bike pages list a speed limit as 'Unlockable'.

What we liked

  • A switch selects the rear motor, the front motor or both, as the page's feature text describes
  • Torque sensor and thumb throttle are both listed
  • The specification table gives weights for both frame styles, a 375 lbs total payload and rider heights
  • Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors and a motor cutoff switch, per the page
  • A charging time of 5 - 7 hours on the standard 2A smart charger is stated

Worth noting

  • The page's 80-mile range depends on the optional second battery; no range is given for the single included battery
  • Step Thru appears as a frame option, but the variant list names only Step Over frames
  • The page lists 81.5 lbs for the step-over frame and does not say what the optional second battery adds
  • The sponsored 2019 review of the earlier model faulted a basic display and a battery-powered rear light; the page does not say if the 2.0 changed them

Questions before you buy

How do the two motors work?

The page lists a front 48V/500W and a rear 500W hub motor, and its feature text says a switch selects the rear motor, the front motor or both. Its FAQ adds that you can use a single motor for everyday riding and engage both when you want extra power or traction.

What battery does it use and can I add a second one?

The specification table lists a 48V 15Ah LG lithium-ion battery with an optional second 15Ah battery, a standard 2A smart charger and a charging time of 5 - 7 hours. The page's 80-mile range applies only with dual batteries.

What does the display show?

The page lists a BC182 LCD display with EUNORAU GO App support. It says the display shows battery life, riding speed and mileage, and that the app syncs information, with trip records and OTA updates among its functions.

How is a Eunorau e-bike shipped and how long does it take?

The shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from Las Vegas warehouses after 1 to 3 business days of processing, with an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit. Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days).

What is the return window?

The return page gives 7 calendar days from receipt to apply. The item must be new, unused and complete in its original packaging, and the buyer pays the return shipping to Eunorau's warehouse; the refund is full only when the fault is Eunorau's. Orders can be cancelled for free before they ship.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty page lists 10 years on the frame and 24 months on the battery, motor and electrical components for bikes bought in the US or Canada after 1 August 2023. It covers manufacturing defects only, needs registration, and excludes wear items, labor and shipping damage.

Does Eunorau offer financing?

Every product page says 'Pay in interest-free installments' under Flexible Payment but names no provider, terms or limits, and we found no payment page, so ask the store before relying on it.

What we couldn’t verify

  • The page lists 'UL Certified: Yes', Class 2 speed limited and unlockable, and a range of up to 80 miles with dual batteries, with no certificate, test or source for any of them.
  • The variant list shows only Step Over / Raven and Step Over / Maple, yet the page also offers a Step Thru frame option and gives a 79.4 lbs step-thru weight.
  • The geometry table gives total length as 1905mm/45.8in, the same inch figure as the 1163mm wheelbase, so the two cannot both be right. The 2019 Electric Bike Review page also gave the motor wattage as 600W, 700W and 750W.
  • The return page says the buyer pays return shipping, while the terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee.
