Eunorau MAX-CARGO 2.0 Electric Cargo Bike Review
A long-tail electric cargo bike listed at $1,699 with a 48V750W rear hub motor, a 48V 14Ah Samsung battery (optional 15Ah second pack), 24" x 2.4" tires and a listed 440 lbs payload. It suits riders hauling cargo; the page says it can hold 2 children, but baby seats are not included.

Our verdict
Makes sense for riders who want a long-tail cargo e-bike with a 750W hub motor, a 440 lbs payload and a second-battery option at $1,699. Look elsewhere if you need one consistent weight and battery specification or a measured range. The main caveat is that the page contradicts itself on weight and battery capacity, and every performance figure is the store's own.
- Best for
- Riders who want a long-tail cargo e-bike with a 750W hub motor, a listed 440 lbs payload and a second-battery option.
- Skip if
- You need consistent weight and battery figures, a measured range or baby seats included.
Why 3.8/5: Rises on a specification table with motor, battery, brakes and tires and on an independent write-up of an earlier version, though that write-up is older than this page; falls on a BBB profile showing an F grade, no accreditation and two unanswered complaints.
Eunorau's MAX-CARGO 2.0 is a long-tail cargo e-bike listed at $1,699, with a 48V750W rear hub motor, a 48V 14Ah Samsung battery and Kenda 24" x 2.4" tires. The page labels it Class 3, speed limited and unlockable, with a 20MPH maximum speed, an 85 lbs weight in the table and a 440 lbs payload. Electrek's 2022 article covers an earlier Max Cargo, not this 2.0 page: it listed specifications without measuring anything, praised its passenger carrying and value, and called it 'a solid entry in an important category'.

Accessories shown on the page: black basket ($99.00), front basket mount ($59.00), handrail / monkey bar ($99.00), cushioned rear seat ($49.00), child seat ($279.00), suspension seatpost ($159.00), C8 saddle ($49.00), kids helmet ($49.99) and adult helmet ($39.99).
How it compares
The Eunorau G30-CARGO 2.0 Electric Cargo Bike is also $1,699 but lists a 48V500W motor, 20" x 3.0" tires, a Class 2 label and up to 65 Miles with dual batteries, against this bike's 48V750W motor, 24" x 2.4" tires, Class 3 label and up to 80 Miles. The Eunorau MAX / G20 / G30 Cargo Bike Battery at $459 is described as fitting the Max-cargo, and the Eunorau JUMBO Electric Bike, also $1,699, lists a 48V1,000W motor and up to 19-25 Mile.
Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping: the shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from warehouses in Las Vegas, with 1 to 3 business days of processing and an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit; Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 shipping option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days), and carriers can add a charge for remote areas. Returns: an order can be cancelled for a full refund before it ships or is produced, but not after it ships; the page asks buyers not to refuse a delivered e-bike and to contact the store instead. A return must be applied for within 7 calendar days of receipt, the product must be new and re-sellable (not assembled, ridden, used or damaged) and complete with its manuals, accessories and original packaging, and the buyer ships it back within 7 days at their own cost to Eunorau's warehouses in the US, Australia, Europe or the UK. The store inspects it within 5 days and refunds in full when the fault is Eunorau's (wrong, damaged or defective item) or minus the shipping cost when the reason is the customer's. The terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee, which does not match the return page's wording. Warranty: the 24-Month+ Limited Warranty on bikes bought in the US or Canada from 1 August 2023 covers manufacturing defects only: the frame for 10 years and the battery, motor and electrical components for 24 months, without labor or normal wear (brake pads, rotors, spokes, grips, shifters, cables, tires, chains, chainrings, cassettes). It is for the original purchaser, needs product registration right after purchase and an inspection by an authorized specialist or dealer after the first year, is cut by 50% for commercial use, does not cover free gifts or pre-installed racks and fenders, and excludes shipping damage (report it at once with photos or video). Disputes under the warranty go to binding individual arbitration (AAA rules, Nevada law) unless the buyer emails an opt-out within 30 days of purchase.
Before you buy
The page shows 631 customer reviews with 100% of them five-star in the store's own widget, which we could not verify; several product pages show the same review counts or lists, so the figure may not belong to this item alone. Reputation: Eunorau E-Mobility USA Corp has an F grade on the Better Business Bureau, is not BBB accredited and has 2 complaints on file, both marked unanswered: a December 2025 request for proof that a bike sold as new was new, and a May 2025 report of a battery cover that would not latch, which the buyer attributes to a frame defect. A web search on 21 October 2026 found no Trustpilot page for Eunorau. The store says it has specialised in e-bikes since 2009 and designs its bikes in the US and manufactures them in Shanghai, while the BBB lists a business start date of 12 December 2019; the eunorau-ebike.com domain was registered on 27 July 2016. The page shows a live 'people are viewing this right now' counter, which we could not verify. The store's FAQ defines Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes by assist or throttle and a 20 or 28 mph limit and says laws vary by state and country, so check local rules; many bike pages list a speed limit as 'Unlockable'.
What we liked
- Page lists a 440 lbs payload and a recommended rider height of 5'2" to 6'1"
- Stated 70 N.m torque on the 750W hub motor, with 0 to 5 level pedal assist and a half twist throttle
- 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with a motor cutoff switch and a Shimano 7-speed derailleur
- Long accessory list on the page: baskets, handrail, rear seat, suspension seatpost, saddle and helmets
- Geometry chart lists wheelbase, standover, handlebar height and total length
Worth noting
- Weight is 85 lbs in the specification table but 35.5kg/78lbs in the geometry chart
- Up to 80 Miles is quoted with dual batteries, and the listing gives no price for the optional 15Ah second battery
- A 2022 reviewer of the earlier Max Cargo said it rides like a boat, found the wooden deck not comfortable alone and was unsure about loading it to the maximum
- That reviewer was not a fan of the 550Wh battery and said the fit and finish was not the strongest point
- The page says baby seats are not included and prices a child seat separately at $279.00
Questions before you buy
What battery does the MAX-CARGO 2.0 use?
The table lists a 48V 14Ah Samsung battery with an optional 15Ah second battery, a US standard 2.0 A smart charger and a 48V / 28A controller. The page's text calls the battery removable and says 14Ah/20Ah, which does not match the table, and no charging time is given.
How many pedal assist levels does it have?
The specification table lists 0 to 5 level pedal assist and a half twist throttle, with a CDC6 display; the listing does not say what the display shows.
How much can it carry?
The table lists a total payload capacity of 440 lbs, and the page copy says it can hold 2 children. Baby seats are not included.
How is a Eunorau e-bike shipped and how long does it take?
The shipping page says e-bikes ship free by FedEx or UPS to the lower 48 states from Las Vegas warehouses after 1 to 3 business days of processing, with an estimated 5 to 7 days in transit. Hawaii, Alaska and other countries need the +$500 option at checkout (estimated 7 to 15 days).
What is the return window?
The return page gives 7 calendar days from receipt to apply. The item must be new, unused and complete in its original packaging, and the buyer pays the return shipping to Eunorau's warehouse; the refund is full only when the fault is Eunorau's. Orders can be cancelled for free before they ship.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty page lists 10 years on the frame and 24 months on the battery, motor and electrical components for bikes bought in the US or Canada after 1 August 2023. It covers manufacturing defects only, needs registration, and excludes wear items, labor and shipping damage.
Does Eunorau offer financing?
Every product page says 'Pay in interest-free installments' under Flexible Payment but names no provider, terms or limits, and we found no payment page, so ask the store before relying on it.

What we couldn’t verify
- The page gives weight as 85 lbs in the table and 35.5kg/78lbs in the geometry chart, and its text says 14Ah/20Ah where the table says 14Ah with an optional 15Ah second battery.
- The header lists Class 3, speed limited, Unlockable, but the table gives a 20MPH maximum speed; no unlocked speed or unlock method is stated, and the 80+ miles range names no test method.
- The 2022 article on the earlier model carries affiliate links and a coupon, does not say who supplied the bike, and its figures are stated rather than measured.
- The page's header strip says 'UL CERTIFIED: Yes' without naming a standard, test lab or certificate number; we found none.
- The return page says the buyer pays return shipping, while the terms page says customers are charged shipping only once, returns included, with no restocking fee.
