Our verdict

The Fit Studio makes sense if you want a proper backyard gym without a construction project: a finished, insulated 8 × 17 ft room delivered in one piece for $32,300 plus your equipment, a pad and an electrical circuit. Confirm the circuit it needs, since Sweaty Yeti's documents differ. If you'd also like a sauna, the Sauna Fit puts one next to a smaller workout room for $47,200.

The Fit Studio is the one Sweaty Yeti unit without a sauna or a plunge: an 8 × 17 ft, 136 sq ft workout room from Irontown Modular in Spanish Fork, Utah (the seller is KEB Homes, LLC, doing business as Irontown Modular). Sweaty Yeti says it is sized for a treadmill, bike, rower and free weights, with glass doors and wood accents facing a front deck where an optional outdoor shower can go. It is built complete in the factory and delivered as a finished structure.

Inside, the features sheet specifies hand-textured drywall painted white and continuous commercial-grade sheet flooring in a grey stone pattern, with 6-inch LED ceiling lights. The building itself is the same as the rest of the range: pressure-treated floor joists, OSB-sheathed 2 × 4 walls, fiberglass insulation rated R-13 in the walls and R-30 in the ceiling and floor, lifetime architectural shingles, fiber-cement board-and-batten siding and a roof rated for 30 lb of snow per square foot.

The Fit Studio starts at $32,300. The order page prices the upgrades: a metal roof ($1,100), metal siding ($1,400) or knotty cedar siding ($2,400), a hinged glass or keypad door ($275 or $545, required with an outdoor shower), the shower from $1,773 unheated to $5,164 heated, window packages ($1,985 or $2,650), a cedar ceiling ($1,045), Bluetooth speakers ($1,809 or $3,618), a ceiling fan ($816), a slatted accent wall with LED light ($4,226), a mini-split for heating and cooling ($6,640) and a cove heater ($1,430). Placement on your pad is $250, and a crane is quoted separately. The April 2026 features sheet lists an older $30,800 base price.

The power figure depends on the document. The order page asks for a 20 amp connection. Sweaty Yeti's August 2026 owner's manual has no "Fit Studio" but lists a "Fit Max" at 40 amps, or 60 with a mini-split — apparently this model under an earlier name, like the 2025 image files that call it "Fit Plus". A mini-split or cove heater needs a 60 amp connection, per the order page. Have an electrician confirm the service with Sweaty Yeti before you order.

Checkout takes a 10% deposit ($3,230 on the base price), refundable for five days under the contract; the balance is due within ten days, building starts after full payment or funded financing, prices can be adjusted if materials or labor rise more than 5%, and change orders cost $250. The build takes about 60–90 days and the unit is set in place in a day.

Delivery is included within 250 miles; elsewhere in the lower 48 it is quoted, and Alaska, Hawaii and Canada cost extra. You prepare a level gravel or concrete pad and the electrical connection; water is needed only for the optional shower. Permits for the electrical work and any HOA approval are the buyer's job. Financing runs through Nelnet Bank via Buildertrend or GreenSky, subject to credit, and the transferable KEB Homes Limited Warranty's terms are available on request.

Within the range, the Sauna Fit pairs a smaller workout room with a 4–6 person sauna for $47,200, and the Plunge Max uses the same 8 × 17 ft shell for a cold plunge room at $44,400.
