Sweaty Yeti Plunge Max Review

The Plunge Max is Sweaty Yeti's dedicated cold plunge room: an 8 × 17 ft, 136 sq ft building from Irontown Modular in Spanish Fork, Utah (the seller is KEB Homes, LLC, doing business as Irontown Modular), with one plunge tub as standard and, Sweaty Yeti says, space for two full-size tubs. The front deck takes an optional shower. Like the rest of the range, it is built complete in the factory and delivered as a finished structure.

The features sheet describes the plunge as a cold plunge tub with a cold/heat chiller set on black pebble stone, and a second tub is a $9,180 option — the brand's cutaway (above) shows the two-tub layout. Sweaty Yeti's owner's manual says the cold plunge system (tub, circulation pump, filter and chiller) is made by Plunge, whose own manual covers app setup, temperature programming and water treatment; confirm the exact equipment in your contract. The owner's manual also says to winterize the plumbing — draining the shower lines and the plunge — whenever the unit won't have continuous heat or year-round use in freezing weather.

The room is finished like the gym models: hand-textured drywall painted white and continuous commercial-grade sheet flooring, per the features sheet, with a cedar ceiling ($1,045) or a slatted accent wall with LED light ($4,227) as options. The shell matches the rest of the line: pressure-treated floor joists, OSB-sheathed 2 × 4 walls, fiberglass insulation (R-13 walls, R-30 ceiling and floor), a sealed floor with a drain, lifetime architectural shingles, fiber-cement board-and-batten siding and a roof rated for 30 lb of snow per square foot.

The Plunge Max starts at $44,400. Besides the second tub, the order page prices a metal roof ($1,100), metal siding ($1,400) or knotty cedar siding ($2,400), a hinged glass or keypad door ($275 or $545, required with the shower), an outdoor shower on the front deck from $1,773 unheated to $5,164 heated with a frost-free valve, window packages ($1,985 or $2,650), Bluetooth speakers ($1,809 or $3,618), a ceiling fan ($818), a mini-split for heating and cooling ($6,640) and a cove heater ($1,430). Placement on your pad is $250; a crane is quoted separately. The model page speaks of an optional indoor hot/cold shower, but the order page only prices the deck shower, so ask. The April 2026 features sheet lists an older $42,300 base price.

You prepare a level gravel or concrete pad, a 240 V connection — 60 amps per the order page; the owner's manual's table of models doesn't include the Plunge Max, so have your electrician confirm — and a water supply for the tub, from a garden hose or permanent lines. Permits for the plumbing and electrical work and any HOA approval are the buyer's job.

Checkout takes a 10% deposit ($4,440 on the base price), refundable for five days under the contract, with the balance due within ten days and construction after full payment or funded financing; prices can be adjusted if materials or labor rise more than 5%, and change orders cost $250. The build takes about 60–90 days, and delivery is included within 250 miles (quoted elsewhere in the lower 48; Alaska, Hawaii and Canada extra). Financing runs through Nelnet Bank via Buildertrend or GreenSky, subject to credit; the KEB Homes Limited Warranty's terms are available on request, and the plunge comes with its maker's own manual and warranty terms.

Within the range, the Sauna Plunge puts a 4–6 person sauna next to a plunge room for $51,700, and the Sauna Plus Barrel Plunge does the same with a barrel-style tub for $55,200.
