Douk Audio P6 MINI Bluetooth Tube Preamp Review
A palm-sized tube preamp at $49.99 with Bluetooth 5.0, USB-disk and stereo RCA inputs, a 6A2 tube stage, separate treble and bass knobs, and an input selector to end cable swapping.

Our verdict
At $49.99, the P6 MINI is an affordable way to add tube warmth, tone control and wireless streaming to a desktop or hi-fi system. It accepts Bluetooth 5.0, U-disk files up to 24-bit / 192kHz and wired RCA, sends everything through a rollable 6A2 tube stage, and gives you real treble and bass knobs behind an input selector. Just pair it with a power amp or active speakers, and note that plugging in a U-disk disconnects Bluetooth.
- Best for
- Desktop listeners who want to add tube warmth, tone controls, Bluetooth and U-disk playback ahead of an existing amplifier.
- Skip if
- You need a built-in power amplifier or speaker outputs; the P6 MINI is a line-level preamp only.
Why 3.6/5: Lifted by $49.99 for Bluetooth 5.0, U-disk playback, an input selector and separate treble and bass knobs, with a full parameter list. Held back by a line-only output with no headphone jack and by distortion and noise figures without test conditions.
The Douk Audio P6 MINI is a vacuum tube preamp priced at $49.99, built for desktop and small-space hi-fi systems. It measures just 97 x 118 x 33mm and weighs 337g, and it combines a tube buffer stage with source switching and tone control to feed an amplifier or active speakers.
Inputs cover the modern and the traditional: Bluetooth 5.0, a USB port for U-disk playback and stereo RCA. The RCA and Bluetooth paths work with turntables, TVs, tablets, projectors and computers, while the U-disk input plays APE, FLAC, WAV and WMA lossless formats in addition to MP3, up to 24-bit / 192kHz from a FAT32 drive of up to 64GB. That means the P6 MINI can be a standalone digital source as well as a preamp.
The tube stage uses a 6A2 tube, which Douk Audio says filters out digital harshness and softens the sound to be warmer and sweeter, full and mellow with large dynamics. Because the socket is pluggable, the tube can be upgraded to a 6J1N, JAN5725W, 6AK5 or EF95 for different sound, and beyond the main volume knob there are independent treble and bass knobs with plus or minus 6dB of range. An input selector with an LED indicator shows the active channel, so you can switch sources without re-plugging cables. Rated distortion is 0.03% or less, SNR is 100dB or better, and the frequency response is 20Hz-20kHz within plus or minus 1dB.
Two operating notes: the U-disk input has priority over Bluetooth, so Bluetooth automatically disconnects when a U-disk is inserted, and the package includes the preamp, two 6A2 tubes, a DC 12V power adapter, a Bluetooth antenna and a manual.

How it compares
The nearest step up is the Douk Audio P2 Mini Bluetooth Tube Preamp review ($73.99), $24.00 more. Both pages list Bluetooth 5.0, a U-disk input, stereo RCA in, a pluggable tube and a tone range of ±6dB. The P2 Mini adds a TF card slot, a mid control, a remote and a headphone output (100mW into 32Ω for 16-64Ω headphones); the P6 MINI page lists only an RCA output and no remote, but a bigger U-disk limit (64G at 24Bit/192K against 32G), a lower THD (0.03% or less against 0.05%) and a higher SNR (100dB or better against 98dB or better). Choose the P6 MINI for a cheaper, smaller source selector in front of an amplifier; choose the P2 Mini if you also listen on headphones.
At the same $49.99, the Nobsound NS-10P Vacuum Tube Stereo Preamp review and the Nobsound TUBE-T4C Stereo Vacuum Tube Preamp review are tube preamps without Bluetooth or a file player. The NS-10P page lists 3.5mm in and out, two 6J1 tubes, 1.5-2.0x voltage gain and independent treble, bass and volume controls; the TUBE-T4C page lists RCA in and out, two 6J5 tubes, 2.5x gain and bass and treble knobs. Neither lists a source selector, so they suit a single source feeding an amplifier. The P6 MINI is the one at this price with an input selector, Bluetooth and file playback, so it fits a desktop where a phone, a TV and a USB stick are all in use. Neither comparison has test conditions behind its figures.
Shipping, returns and warranty
- Shipping: Douk Audio's current shipping page says orders are generally processed no later than the next business day and arrive in 2-8 business days, with duties, taxes and customs fees included in the checkout price unless noted otherwise.
- Older shipping terms are still online: airmail at 10-25 days for parcels under 2 kg, DHL, UPS or FedEx at 5-8 days above that, and a line saying the store is not responsible for import duties. Check the delivery estimate and any duties at checkout.
- Returns: ask within 30 days of delivery and wait for approval before sending anything; an approved return has to ship within 7 days. Items need all packaging and accessories and no excessive wear, or the store can refuse them or refund part of the price. Refunds go to the original payment method after inspection.
- Not refunded: original and expedited shipping, duties, taxes and customs charges, unless the law requires it or the store made the error. The return page does not say who pays return postage, and the older refund page excludes mistaken orders and change-of-mind returns from free after-sale service.
- Warranty: 24 months from purchase for manufacturing defects, with free repair, a replacement unit and free shipping both ways for covered repairs. Drops, liquid, DIY repairs, lightning, extreme temperatures and misuse are excluded (partial fees may apply), and damage from weak packing on the way back may not be covered. The older refund page still says 1 year.
- Seller: the site is run by Shenzhen Anba Technology Co., Ltd (Shenzhen, China) and HONGKONG LONGSHENG Import and Export Trading Co., Limited (Hong Kong); support is by email at [email protected]. These terms cover orders placed on doukaudio.com; other sellers apply their own.
For this product, the page has a 'Shipping to' selector (US, UK, EU, AU, Other) and shows Free Shipping, 2-8 Days Arrival, 30-Day Return and 2-Year Warranty badges near the price.
What we liked
- Three input families in one small box: Bluetooth 5.0, USB U-disk playback and stereo RCA
- Plays lossless files from a U-disk at up to 24-bit / 192kHz, so no computer is needed for digital playback
- 6A2 tube stage softens digital sources, with a pluggable socket for 6J1N, JAN5725W, 6AK5 and EF95 rolling
- Independent treble and bass knobs instead of a single tone control, with an input selector and LED indicator
- Compact CNC aluminum chassis at 97 x 118 x 33mm with a warm vintage tube glow
Worth noting
- It is a preamp only: you must feed it into a power amplifier or active speakers
- The U-disk input takes priority over Bluetooth, so the Bluetooth connection drops when a U-disk is plugged in
- U-disk playback is capped at 64GB and FAT32 formatting
Questions before you buy
Can I play music from a USB drive?
Yes. The U-disk input plays MP3, APE, FLAC, WAV and WMA files up to 24-bit / 192kHz from FAT32 drives of up to 64GB. Note that the U-disk input has priority, and Bluetooth disconnects when a drive is inserted.
What does the tube change about the sound?
The default 6A2 tube is meant to filter out digital harshness and add a warm, sweet character. The pluggable socket also accepts 6J1N, JAN5725W, 6AK5 and EF95 tubes for different flavors.
Does it include a power supply?
Yes. The box contains the preamp, two 6A2 tubes, a DC 12V power adapter, a Bluetooth antenna and a user manual.
What is the return and warranty policy?
Douk Audio's current policy pages give you 30 days from delivery to request a return, which Douk must approve before you send the item back (within 7 days of approval); original shipping fees and duties aren't refunded. Its warranty covers manufacturing defects for 24 months from purchase, with free repair or replacement.

What we couldn’t verify
- Distortion of 0.03% or less, SNR of 100dB or better and 20Hz-20kHz (±1dB) are printed with no test level or load, and the page says 'Distortion' without naming THD or THD+N.
- This review's earlier text said the RCA and Bluetooth paths work with turntables; the page's wording is 'phonoes' (probably phones) and it lists no phono stage, so a turntable would need its own.
- The review's note that the U-disk takes priority over Bluetooth, so Bluetooth drops when a stick is inserted, is not in the page text read on 2026-10-25.
- Replacement tubes: the page says '6*1N / JAN5725W / 6AK5 / EF95' and does not say which 6*1N types fit; this review's earlier text wrote 6J1N.
- The page ties 24Bit/192K to FAT32 and does not say whether the 64G limit needs it too; Bluetooth is listed as 5.0 with no codec list, range or latency figure.
- Power: a DC 12V adapter is in the box; the page gives no current rating or plug type.
